If you sign up for Prime it's always been free for the first month. Well worth trying it out and in the account settings you can turn the auto renewal off. Or if you have other family members who shop at Amazon you can share the Prime account with other nominated people, so then split the cost and keep the subscription! :)

I got that from mid December, you can change your settings straight away so there is no chance of getting charged. I found it was useless nothing arrived in anything like next day even after Christmas and the snow. For free its ok don't expect too much though. Also orders from the Market place don't always come through prime so they will get charged.

spammed - account specific.

I don't think it is account specific. Try putting a item in your basket and going to checkout- see what it says

Incorrett, it's not account specific. It's for anyone who hasn't already used the 1 month free trial.

I don't get the offer.

have you tried it before? If you have then you are only allowed to try it once in a 12 month period for free.

I personally think Prime is fantastic value for money - I ordered 6 blurays the other day, I could have waited a week for free delivery, paid £22.50 for next day or selected prime which got it here the following morning, 9am by courier...on a saturday.

I thought amazon prime only deliver to people in the same house? not like you can split it with relative A in manchester and relative B in london.

I'm not sure as only used it for myself however when talking to friends they said they had used it to other relatives addresses through the account?

I don't get the offer.

You must have already used it in the past then as a trial, because it's always free for the first month for new Prime signups...

You can use it for other addresses as well as i've done it in the past. Think it is only 3 additional ones from memory though.
