Ask through live chat, I was going to sign up and noticed it was charging me £8.99 aswell so I left it. I've had free psn credit and a £10 voucher previously. Maybe they have just altered there terms and conditions I guess.

contradicts itself with regards to the offer advertised on the link page and the wording on the application form - no mention of free trial on the application form you fill in and by selecting pay now you are losing the right to a refund !!! Hmmmmm , I smell a rat

If you are eligible it will show as £0.00 on the order confirmation screen, I believe some people had the same problem with the last offer. I would suggest contacting them via live chat if you haven't previously had a trial and state you are being charged.

I did this last time! No problem got code a couple of weeks after starting the trial! When you sign up it looks like its charging you but it isnt, the T's and C's do state

5. Your free trial expires 30 days after registration and you will NOT be charged during the free trial.

Just make sure you cancel before the end of the 30 days or they will auto renew @ £8.99!

went ahead with it on the strength of above 2 posts and can confirm I was charged £0.00 , my trial expires on 27th August ;)

Now , how to go about cancelling after the codes have been sent , anyone advise ? thanks

Yes that's right , so looked like I was going to be charged £8.99 when I clicked pay now only for the confirmation screen to confirm total payable as £0.00 , happy days

is turning off auto renew the same as giving notice of cancellation then ? cheers

The app is terrible on the PS4. Just tried watching 3 movies each time after 5 minutes kicked back to the main screen. Uninstalled.

Basically you get a £10 credit for paying £8.99 (so a saving of £1.01). Not worth it any longer

The T&C's changed recently in the past you were able to get this freebie & then end up 2-3 weeks later with a nice £10 PSN voucher (cancel the now tv subs anytime from day 1 to day 30), no longer the case. You will only receive the voucher after your 1st payment, will try to locate the exact T&C's

Hot from me, have taken advantage of these offers on a couple of occasions. First for XBOX credit and then the PS3 offer a couple of months back. Most of my family members have had trials now haha.

signed up nothing charged :) must waiting for psn credit :)

Worked perfectly! Thanks OP. Does anyone know if you're still eligible for the PSN credit if you cancel straight away?
#27
I'm seeing no option to switch off auto renewal, just cancel (Which immediately cancels the service seemingly) Anyone got a clue here, I don't want to forget about it and get charged the £8.99!

Edit: It doesn't cancel the months pass, just words it so. Not sure I'll qualify for the PSN credit, hope so!

so if you press cancel does it terminate your trial straight away or does it end when the free trial expires?
#29
I have just signed up must remember to cancel on Aug 25th or as soon as we get the voucher

How exactly do I cancel auto renew? I clicked on "My Account" and all I see is my name, username and some pin settings to the left and on the right "My Passes". Do I just press "cancel pass" which is located next to the "Sky movies month pass" ? Thanks in advance.

So pressing cancel will mean you'll still carry on with the trial but auto renewal will be cancelled? thanks.

I wouldn't cancel until around a week before the payment is due, usually the codes arrive within 2 weeks on a friday.

No, was no mention of it last time, then suddenly appeared a couple weeks later.

Can you keep an account active with a pre-paid membership card that comes with some of the boxes? I just bought a box with 4 months Sky entertainment pack, just wondering if I can start a free trial to get the PSN credit then continue the membership with my promo from the box.

Yeah I don't see why that wouldn't work.
#37
Good luck trying to get the code, a friend of mine had to send tons of emails etc in order to get any response and they chatged him in the process, still dont know if he will ever get that amount refunded.

seems a lot of risk for a tenner, but for those not fussed I guess its a good deal.
#38
You can't do this again with the same address, can you?
Already did this last time, just double checking haha :)
