Many thanks - was thinking about signing up to a year's membership, but this is a much better way to see if it's worth it first.

Great spot - heat added. If you want one for a full year, you can get a code for one on eBay for around £1.

Nice one .... :)

thanlks, ordered one and heat added (_;)

It says you can't have one if you've already had a free Taste card, I ordered a free Taste card last year but it seems to have accepted my order, will wait and see if one arrives.

If you search on eBay you can buy a whole year's Taste Card for £2 ... I ordered one and had the website code emailed to me immediately and my Taste Card arrived in the post 10 days later. Definitely worth investigating.

Once you've ordered it what do you have to do? Because i bought one too. Havent recieved anything in the post

I wouldn't really promote these ebay codes guys. They sound like a really good deal if they work but I presume you have to enter your name and address on the tastecard website or at some point and they will know eventually if you have a dodgy code... Do you really want Tastecard to find out that you have a illigitimate/fradulent ebay code when a company holds all your personal information. Could be risky

Just to avoid having a nasty letter in the post is all.

Good to know!
I've had a Taste Card trial before as well...

Thanks! My favourite local restaurant is listed so I'll definately be taking advantage of this :)
#27
seems pretty good, but a lot of the restaurants seem pretty expensive places unfortunately - well the ones near me do anyway

Be warned - make sure you check before you travel that the restaurant you want to use still accepts the card. The Taste website is out of date, and restaurants that have stopped accepting the card aren't always removed.

Awesome, just ordered mine. tanks

It's nothing to be fussed about. These are the codes issued to carphone warehouse from a promotion they had which allowed the customer a free 12 month Taste card with whatever the purchase was. It seems the employees are selling off the excess "stock".

I got one and there's been no issues. That said, it's not as good as it used to be, with the bigger chains switching to 2 for 1 instead of 50% off- GBK being most recently guilty of that.

So true. Makes it far less useful if there are 3 of you (or any odd number).

Ta for that info

I had the three months free deal last time it was knocking about.

I used it 3 times and overall, 'saved' round 70 quid. (with one of the meals, i got a 50% discount for four of us... Which is nice ) :)

Defo agree with the niggly rise in 2for1 over 50% off. :(

I'm just amazed at how it is exactly 5000 restaurants. When they add a new one do they have to get rid of another one?

Can't apply for this as the website has ran out of Postcode Address Finder (PAF) credits.

POOP!

Getting this error while trying to 'Find Address' - "No PAF Credits left"

How do you manually enter your address as the address rows are blocked so you cant type anything.
#40
It says no PAF available or something like that. so can't get it. but will goto ebay and order code on there for a quid!
