Free 3 Month Trial of the Gourmet Society, 2 for 1 on meals in 1000s of restaurants

  i have a ggourmet society card that is valid until summer next year, but i am not a member anymore as i cancel after the free trial, do you know what happens when you present your card? do they check you are a member, i can't understand how this company could be making any oney if nobody checks if you're still a paid up member

  It reads like they only class your trial as cancelled if you've retruned the card. If they still have your details and havent recieved the card back when the trial ends they may still charge you.
  
  Thats what I think anyway based on whats written on the trial page. That said if your trial is over and they haven't charged you sounds like you just got the card for free!

  I just signed up for this the day before yesterday for 2000 nectar points, which may be a cheaper option if people find they use it during the trial period.

  Hey, not sure, there's an expiry date on the card, if its still in date I would imagine you could still use it but im guessing.

  Just found a 2 month trial to tastecard from the Mirror - http://www.mirror.co.uk/tastecard
  tastecard seem's to have allot more restaurants to choose from and more offering 50% off.
