Does this mean a free £20 cashback with no spend so long as you cancel?
#2
I'm tempted as I would like to know my credit rating and obviously the £20 cashback is an added bonus! However, you apparently have to phone a call centre to cancel (always dodgy IMO)
#3
I have used the 30 day trial in the past, and very easy to cancel before it ends.

i did this before but i can guarantee you that they will take money from your account even if you cancel within the trial i am 3 colleagues done this all at the same time only to see all of us were charged about 1 week after the trial had completed and the account was already cancelled within the trial time.

they were not helpful in helping get the money back so we all lost out there just a word of warning , the service is good though not sure why anybody would remain a subscriber to there service though thanks poster for the post.

voted cold only because they took my money without consent.
#5
has anyones tracked?

i was expecting it immediately because of this "Experian will validate immediately after sign up."
#6
Expect to receive debt chasing letters phishing for people who share your name, anything you tell them will be shared with Debt Collection Agencies.
#7
Credit Expert can be a PITA when it comes to cancelling before the trial runs out (personal experience only) and you need to be overly forceful when cancelling as they want you to stay and pay for the service.
#8
Has Quidco tracked for anyone yet? Signed up late last night but nnothing yet.

"debt chasing letters" umm, why? i dont have any debts.

"phishing for people who share your name" ok, they can have my name:/

"anything you tell them will be shared with Debt Collection Agencies" surely not my payment details

And as for cancelling before the trial runs out. I will simply record the phone conversation as evidence.

I cancelled easily before the end of my trial and no money was taken. Always wise to also cancel any direct debit agreement with your bank too for peace of mind.

I had a grim time trying to get them to stop taking money from my bank account when my trial expired last time. They took 2 months' worth, and despite many complaints, I did not receive my money back - AVOID!
#12
yeah used these guys before and cancelled before the trial ended, no probs- no money taken.
always cancel dd with bank imo
#13
Did this yesterday when spotting it on Quidco's site, mines been tracked already. Like the idea of recording the cancellation just incase if they are that awkward.
#14
Well I've gone for it. I take it that we will be OK to cancel before the 30 days or does it have to run its course to give cash back ?

Of course they share your details with other companies, they are a credit reference agency, they have your details whether you sign up or not, this is how companies decide whether to give you credit or not.

Quidco tracked for anyone else?
#17
Signed up last night, once for myself and once for my wife, two different Quidco accounts, Two different credit cards, two different email addresses. Neither have tracked yet. I have never lost a transaction in years. getting worried plus you are not allowed to make an enquiry on this one ?????
#18
No quidco for me yet but I am used to it. Quidco and topcash both take over a week normally for any transaction for me :( .

Interested now to see my credit info.
#19

On the note of quidco still not tracking for this.
I mistakenly used quidco instead of topcash for a electricity change. Within 2 hours it tracked lol. I have never had anything track quicker than 3 days on either site before.

What is the money grabbing consumer supposed to think !.

Quidco usually tracks really quickly for me. This deal though, is the longest.
Cred Exp have sent me the welcome letter already. Doubt will get anything out of Quidco.

How long must I leave it after Quidco has tracked before I can cancel my membership?
#27
tracking as £5.00 cashback at the moment. Sent Quidco a support message as you can't create a query for it.

Still no tracking here. And as to how long to leave before cancelling, I'd say leave it a week then do it.
#30
Thanks teraomi but still not tracked for me yet????
#31
woo mines tracked as £20
#32
Still nothing. I may just ring to cancel now. Not worth watching every day. I have my reason to cancel. Having to pay to actually see my credit report. Kinda bad when you have to pay 2 fees to get there.
#33
Not looking good for most of us and tried to fob me off cancelling already but there's still time

Cancellation line: 0115 935 6662

Cancelled mine today. Not a happy bunny!
#35
Well no quidco at all, not even tracking. I emailed to cancel but had to call a number. I have a free phone number if its helps. 0800 561 0083

Same with equifax, no cash back. My application did mess up somehow though and they wanted me to call in. I have just left it alone. If they charge me I have grounds to argue as they emailed me saying I have not completed the required info.
