Avast is the way to go in my opinion. Tho, if you can really afford it go for sophos - trusted by many big companies and universities.

1 year - 3 users - £97 o.O (cheapest AV they provide)

I am impressed by MSE BUT most people deliberately target Microsoft so it is the first AV they will prepare against when developing malware. Good for all the old stuff out there tho, not sure about if it is future proof.

This AV wil SLOW YOUR MACHINE DOWN.

Use at your peril - worst resource hungry software ever.

Why do you think they are giving 6 months away free - cause people in the know avoid this and word of mouth is spreading this fact

This programs hates Never winter nights on steam Classed a main .exe file for said game as a trojan and no way to stop it from doing so without disabling the virus scanner.

Bloatware, avoid like the plague I'd rather install mse2 than this, wouldn't even install it if I was paid to do it - unless of-course they paid a few hundred £'s, would then buy another pc and leave this rubbish running on the old pc!!!

This will get cold ...

I have to agree with the others, I had the 12 month free one from my credit card. Uninstalled it after a few days, added about a minute to my computer start up time! :(
