Free audiobook by Mark Billingham from Bigissue website
Bought the Big Issue this morning as usual and saw this offer for a free audiobook on their website! And it's a good author too.
Apparently it's normally worth £25 so it's a great deal.
Just go to www.bigissue.com and click the link on the side of the page saying "Free Audiobook", and then sign up with your email address. You can download it straight away!

Product Description
Shortlisted for the British Book Awards, Crime Thriller of the Year, 2006.
Tom Thorne's career is on the skids. Depressed by the recent loss of his father, berated for overstepping the mark on his last case, he's been 'encouraged' to take leave. It's a fairly dire situation. But not as dire as the situation for London's homeless. Three vagrants have been found murdered in the last month. Were they just random jetsam, or were they targeted for a reason?
With his deputy, Dave Holland, as his only contact, Thorne is seconded to the streets. Not as a policeman, but as one of life's rejects. It fits: he looks the part, and feels it as well. In this twilight netherworld he finds a society with its own rules and its own moral code. And the word on these streets is that the killer is a cop.
Isn't this one of the Thorne books that Sky have dramatised with David Morrisey?
this hasnt been dramatised yet-it was sleepyhead and scaredycat they showed
Yes and it looks like this book is about homeless life, so it makes sense...
Mark Billingham used to be a stand up comedian before he changed to an author fact fans.
