What are you going to do if your 4 minutes are up and you haven't finished washing?
You're going to carry on regardless aren't you ( Could be a good title for a film ).
I don't know about every one else but I tend to get in the shower, wash, then get out.
It takes as long as it takes.
Having a timer isn't going to alter the speed at which I wash myself.
Its good for someone like me, when you have washed yourself, i just stand there in the warmth and then think about EVERYTHING! and then after 10 mins i realise ive been wasting my time.

My brother's shower does that, it cut out on me completely with my hair full of shampoo. I had to get out the shower, phone him, wait for him to phone back to tell me what to do and find the switch to get it to go back on, all this time soaking wet wearing a towel in a house with no heating (ok, so most of that story wasn't relevant, just pointing out how bloody annoying it is when they switch off automatically!!).

Educational as that might be, you really need to shower before you get to work.
I do that but it's not wasting time as such. When else during the day do you get such high quality timeout?
