250 matt finish business cards free. Many designs to choose from.

Costs around £3.40 for postage and handling. Still a bargain in my opinion.

Great find. Will definitely be some goodies from this offer.

Thanks, and happy christmas

They do this regularly but be warned that they do 'spam' your inbox constantly with offers.

The cards have the vistaprint logo on the back too I believe- not great for impressing your business acquaintances

They do some awesome 'postage only' offers, order as a bulk lot and you pay combined postage only. The freebies tend to be business cards (matt and sometimes free gloss finish), postcards, magnets, calendars, notepads. I use them for a lot of my business stationary,

Thanks for this :santa: They do run these promotions regularly, but worth keeping in mind for freebies :santa:

i was running low on cards, and those look like pretty decent quality.

got some return address labels free too

Just a heads up - there are reports that Vistaprint sign you up to some sort of scheme without your permission, taking a £9.99 "monthly fee" from your credit/debit card! Approach with caution.

Never heard of that before, i've been buying from them for years and have never had any problems. Any sign up to a scheme would have to be detailed in the small print anyway.

Just do as I do - I only ever order when items are free so only pay for shipping & handling - got all my Chrimbo cards with pic of the kids on and personalised for next to nothing and the personalised desk calendars are fantastic - had one done with all the kids on for me and one with old family photos on for my Mum - she loved it!

I've been using them for about 3 years now and have never heard of this and certainly have never experienced it.

Yeah, I steer clear of them for this reason - I'm not giving something out to represent me that then carries an advert for something else and most certainly not something I'm not 110% happy to recommend

Yes, the free products carry the logo on the reverse in small print - harldy a big deal in my opinion considering how cheap the items are! You can pay a small fee to remove the information too.

Avoid the FREE rubber stamps as they are not worth the money!!

There is a check box somewhere in the application to avoid the £9.99 per month deduction from your account. I didn't get caught out by it but a friend did. They refunded here money though.

I also got som postcards which I had something amusing put on. I use them for competition entries to catch the eye. So far I have won a boat trip and something alse that was so unimpressive I have forgotten what it was

my cards came this morning, and having bought many cards in the past, these are really decent, brilliant in fact, considering they were free.
also, mine don't have anything on the back at all.

would be interested though, if anyone has anymore info on this "scheme" they sign you up for, as there wasn't anything on the form i filled out, and i certainly wouldn't have agreed to anything that did have that kind of clause.

i've had a good check through the "my account" bit with no luck

not had a statement in since the p&p when ordering the cards, so no idea if anything has come out since then.

cheers in advance if anyone has more info

Any scheme offers are just offered via pop-ups after each purchase. There is no auto-opt in dodgy scheme so I would not worry :)

a few of the posts had me concerned there :)

The big downside with this US-based offer is that the cards are not credit card size like most business cards in the UK now. Hence they may not fit into your card wallet or the wallet of the person you give them too. There's no way of changing this.

They fit all standard business card holders - the width is about 2mm wider and slightly less hight than a credit card so no probs fitting them in all card holders and wallets

UK orders are not shipped from the USA - they have depos all over the world - I think the UK cards are currently delivered from Belgium or Sweeden,

Uk orders come from denmark.

I've ordered lots of free stuff from VistaPrint and I recommend them. Sign up then wait for them to send you some free offer e-mails. The free PREMIUM business cards don't have their advert on the back and you can add photos and text and change the layout. My tip is to create one of the free photo calendars, which allows you to upload 13 photos for free and then you can use those photos on other stationery without having to pay uploading charges. Also, if you order lots of free stuff then order one item costing a pound or two (I usually go for the customised sticky notes or notepads) and then your postage costs drop dramatically! I always choose the slowest delivery time and the goods usually turn up within 2 weeks. The labels are despatched separately and can take a long time to arrive though.

Hope that helps.

I've been waiting for the free premiem cards offer to come through but no luck.
Theres an offer on for the premium ones for £3.24 which is great but it doesnt let you have the option to remove the printing on the reverse side so it automatically charges you another £3 or £10 for the colour.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Many thanks

Laura

its good but at the back of the card it says free business cards just pay postage and gives a link. which makes you look cheap when you give it to a client.lol

This has been happening during the past 7 days, I think it might be an error as normally there is an option for blank reverse printing. I'll check it again and let you know, as I normally get 2 or 3 links for free premium cards each week.

i got caught out by £9.99 pmonth-- did get a refund though after several months

The premium card deal links seem to be working fine again, with the option for blank reverse,

I just had a look at their current 'free' offers. I'm still trying to figure out how it costs £10.28 to send a few bits of stationary on 28 day delivery LMAO
I suppose it is still quite a good deal if you need the stuff, but the postage is bloomin' pricey :-(
I was gonna go for it for free, but a tenner for postage is a bit of a turn off for me. A bit like the penny auctions on eBay where the postage costs £14.99 for a 10gram memory card :whistling:
