if you hold a o2 payg sim card you can get 500 free anytime mins per month to 1 nominated o2 number

call 2202 from your handset and pick option 3,option 3,option 1 and option 3 to hear about how it works.it is called the one Promotion.

all they ask in return is for your normal £10 min top-up per month

to have the service added to your sim you have to register for it before the 30th of september.

iv looked on the o2 site and can find no details about it.but it does work i have had it on my phone now for the last 2 weeks

I'm into my 5th month of this, was originally for 3 months. Came to the end of that they sent me a text offering me another 3 months for free. I can't spend the credit on my phone as the only person I phone is the missus. She gets 500 mins to me and I get 500 mins to her. Anyone got any good ideas on how to spend £80 PAYG credit?
#2
Can you turn this offer on and off, if so you could save the £10 a month and use the credit to call the missus for a few months instead?
#3
You gotta top up at least a tenner a month to get it. I top up £15 but get, 300sms 1mb GPRS WAP, 150 Offpeak anyone minutes, 15 anytime minutes to o2 or landline numbers. So I get value for money. Just need something to spend the credit on. Already got tons of games on phone.

You could always use it up texting in entries for TV competitions!

I was thinking that, quizcall or summit on sky channel 6284733957 or summit like that. Might go for that like
#6
Paddy you can link it up to a paypal account, text say £70 to your account, they'l debit it and put it in your acocunt.
#7
Really? That would be pretty good. How do I do that? Cheers BTW

Yeah, how do you go about doing that? I can't find any info about this on Paypal's website?

i top up 20 quid a month 1000 texts,1mb wap, 150 minutes plus 500 minutes to selected person/
#10
I think t0mm might have it mixed up. You can send money via Mobile phone using Paypal, but it debits it from your online account. Unless what t0mm talks about is a brand new thing i've never heard of...
#11
Yeah, I just found that out. I just had £70 taken from my bank account, so I'm guessing I've lost £70 outta my bank account for a couple days until it gets credited back. I already cancelled the payment.
#12
but dont this take away the txt thing i got going?? 300 txtes £10 a month
#13
Never did to me

Welcome to HUKD terry7866 :)

Im already signed up to the one where if you top up £15 a month you get 150 mins and if you top up £30 you get 300 mins to any number after 7:30pm and on weekends. Does anyone know if you can have both of these? or would this replace my current tarriff if i signed up?
#16
Interesting, will investigate this later. I signed up to O2 last month, and am doing the £10 top up = 300 free texts deal. Works well for me as I hardly use the phone to make calls anyway, but the bf is on O2 so free minutes would be good.
#17
as far as i know you can have it add to your card no matter what else you have there already
#18
vodafone pay as u go has a better deal, vodafone family allows 4 people to talk unlimited to each other for only £5 a month. Only 1 member out of the 4 needs to pay the £5 for unlimited calls all round. Only downside is you have no free texts.

I've had my o2 simcard for 3 years and get the 300 free text and wap minutes for £10 top up, does anyone know if I take up one of the offers like this whether it'll wipe out the existing free texts deal?
