As above...Looks like the OP's customer number is in the link, so guessing it's only for those who receive an email.

Think you have to wait for the email from British Gas. The links are unique and only the customers entitled to the deal will be eligable.

I got the email, and tried it. then came here to see if anyone else got one and had the same problem.

I put in my unique code and get this message. "Sorry that code is one use only and has already been used by someone else. Ref. 8125"

Got an email from British Gas and ordered one no problem.

Unfortunately, I dont think a 5000x3500 will actually produce a decent result. Oh well, time will only tell.

I'm a Sainsbury's customer and got the email. Eventually got a code after getting through the "CE Internal configuration error", but now told the code has already been used. Waste of time!!

The link in email has encoded customer no.... so it can check whether its been used or not -
Other points to note
1: multiple email ids get rejected at first instance so guess photobox cannot harvest them
2: 1 per BG customer
3. Takes a little bit of patience...get code on my fourth try (was giving some techical error the 3 times before... gather they didnt expect the might of HUKD users trying this on :-) together)

I got the email earlier this afternoon and received my code straight away. I think it is a £15 canvas plus free postage. Bargain.

Just placed my order no problems. Never had a canvas before and just had some professional photos taken of my son so perfect timing for me.

I think you need to wait for the email and follow the instructions. There is only a certain amount available so claim it as soon as you get the email.

Seems they're aware of the issue. They have this message on the website.

"Code not working? Don’t worry, we are aware of the issue. Please try later. Remember, you have until 30th September to redeem your code"

I entered my email but was given a code instantly on the screen. The email was sent about 5 mins later.

I had the same problem and asked British Gas. They replied saying the same code was issued to multiple people, and that we have to wait for a new code to be emailed.

Got mine delivered yesterday; very surprised at the quality, bearing in mind it was free!


Mine has now arrived and I agree. Excellent quality for a freebie. I did use a professional photo so i think that helped.

I received a free photobox canvas picture with the British Gas offer but was disappointed with it. I had asked for it to be wrapped round but thought they would use better judgement because the photo had two friends on it but the heads are bent over the top of the frame. Surely they could have cut off some of the bottom of the picture to fit the heads on the main frame. In any case in the original photo there was a fair bit of room over the heads so there should have been no need for the heads to be wrapped over.
