Anyone read it as free meals for herpes?

Despite the fact that our armed forces shouldn't be fighting in the conflicts the current and previous government has dropped them in, this is a great idea and I wish more companies would do things like this to honour their service.

This deserves to go super nova.

I love their carveries :D
heat from me :)

Its nice that they do something, many companies don't. It was annoying that places that'd give a discount for students and happily advertise it, gave nothing to service personnel

It's purely a financial decision.

Yep. Put things into perspective didn't it? Now imagine you're an unarmed Afghani civilian caught between both sides.

Never been to Afghan but done several tours of Iraq, so have seen all sides of modern conflict. Thought the platoon sgt and plt commander where both stand up blokes.

I can't take up the deal myself, but I couldn't think of a more worthy group of individuals to offer it to. Well done Crown Carveries, I'll certainly check you out of I am in the vicinity of one of your establishments

Mods: I think the point about supporting our forces whilst not agreeing with the reasons for them being deployed was a good one. I'm disappointed you felt you had to delete it.

Smacks of a pr stunt to me being a limited offer and all

Taking NOTHING away from those who serve or have. This is a hot topic right now so companies like these see it as a win/win

politically speaking, soldiers are more powerful than they realise.

Fair play to Crown Carveries. Not enough is done for the men and women of our armed forces in my opinion, they are true hero's no matter if they are on active service, training or retired.

Great gesture whatever the intention.

Respect to all who serve our country in the forces

Great deal, thumbs up to the op for this post. I got free entry into universal studios when the gulf war was on. I think more companies show do more for the families of british service men and women.

Wow my first post and i have created this ?
My opnion is that it is superb to pass on a great deal i have found and not copied from another forum, i hope this helps people who have put themselves before others and deserve a treat , i am sure that many other sites exist if you just want to have a political opinion or just **** off people who you cant be.

Cant wait for my second post ! will it all be downhill from here ? :(

Now, if only companies started offering discounts and freebies to the under-appreciated public service workers that do their jobs above and beyond the call of duty.

I'm talking nurses and teachers to name but two groups.
