Free Charity Donations (Just Click to Donate Daily) @ The Hunger Site & Care2
Have read up on these websites and they look totally legitimate, many positive reviews.
If you chooose to sign up (not necessary for click donations) there is apparently no risk of spamming, all genuine and trusted.
What a great cause, hard to believe just clicking, at no personal cost, will provide donations (Let's Click Away!) but that appears to be the case:
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia -
The Hunger Site is the original click-to-donate site created in 1999 that gets sponsorship from advertisers in return for delivering users who will see their advertisements. The Hunger site encourages visitors to click a button on the site, once per day, asserting that each unique click results in a donation "equivalent" to 1.1 cups of food. The Hunger Site is not a charity; it is a for-profit corporation which donates the revenue from its advertising banner to selected charities. Currently, these are Feeding America (formerly America's Second Harvest) and Mercy Corps.
Care2 is a social network website that was founded by Randy Paynter in 1998[1] to help connect activists from around the world. It has a membership of more than 17 million people. Care2's stated mission is to help people make the world a better place by connecting them with the individuals, organizations and responsible businesses making an impact.

about global warming and carbon offsets
Global warming is one of the biggest threats facing our environment, human health and even national security. Global warming pollution from carbon dioxide (CO2) and other greenhouse gasses caused by human activities is heating up our atmosphere, melting our polar ice caps, and threatening species like polar bears. A carbon offset represents a reduction in CO2 somewhere, like a wind farm in Texas or a reforestation project in Nicaragua, to balance out the carbon emissions from your activities, like computer use, that you cannot reduce.
about Carbonfund.org
Carbonfund.org is leading the fight against global warming, making it easy and affordable for any individual, business or organization to eliminate their climate impact and hastening the transformation to a clean energy future. Carbonfund.org works with over 1,200 businesses and 450,000 individuals to reduce their carbon footprint and solve climate change through education, carbon offsets and reductions, and public outreach.
how your clicks turn into donations
Our advertisers sponsor this site and make your donations to the Carbonfund.org possible. Every day that you click, you are generating a true cash donation. 100% of the donations generated by this click-to-donate go to Carbonfund.org. Care2 guarantees every daily-click through to the 'Thank You' / Sponsor page will generate a donation of at least $1/CPM. Care2 pools all of the daily donations and delivers these funds to Carbonfund.org on a regular basis.
how your click helps
Carbonfund.org supports three types of carbon offset projects: renewable energy, energy efficiency and reforestation. Each type plays an important role in the fight against climate change. Your daily clicks help fund projects like:
Return to Forest in Nicaragua, a reforestation project to replant an area of tropical forest the size of Central Park. The trees planted will sequester over 150,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions over the course of their lifetime.
The first-ever carbon offset project approved by the US EPA%u2019s Climate Leaders Program. Located in Clinton County, NY, this innovative project is fighting climate change by collecting and destroying the greenhouse gas methane, which is about 23 times more potent than carbon dioxide, from the landfill.
The Genesis Forest Project in Brazil, which will offset 93,170 metric tons of CO2 through the permanent conservation and reforestation of more than 3,000 acres of tropical forest. This forest has been classified as a biodiversity hotspot and features a wide array of unique plant and animal species including the giant anteater, giant armadillo, jaguar, and maned wolf.
Solar projects in California so local consumers are able to take advantage of clean, alternative solar energy which is decentralized and provides increase energy security. Your clicks and Carbonfund.org%u2019s support go toward helping to retrofit school and business facilities with photovoltaic solar panels.

thanks!
shame it's only 1 a day
One click a day will provide a donation, the more clicks the better :)
Will do, thanks. Didn't bother registering, which is required to get the bracelets, pins etc. so you still have to pay the $9.95? The banners claim the gifts are free.

After some googling and playing about with a bit of code I've made a batch file to do this. If you want it copy the following text into a text file and save as charitysites.bat
Make sure it is set to all files and not .txt files.
Simply double click the bat file to load up 28 sites above. You still need to click the buttons on the sites though.

Which browser do you use? I use Firefox which allows tabbed browsing.
What you can do is open each page in a new tab then select "Bookmark All Tabs". This will save all the bookmarks/favourites in a folder (that you can name) so you can then open them all from there every day.
Should be able to do the same thing with Chrome.
I will check out the other sites too.
Thanks.
