THE LOCATION:

Kings Place is a new music venue on 90 York Way, N19AG http://www.kingsplace.co.uk - 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross Station.

There are two concert halls and facilities for eating and drinking.
There is limited parking, NCP Car Park is on Pancras Road.

We are offering FREE TICKETS on 17th 18th and 19th June of classical and jazz concerts in conjunction with the Royal Academy of Music

SEEFILMFIRST VOUCHERS MUST BE EXCHANGED FOR TICKETS AT THE VENUE: THESE MUST BE PICKED UP AT THE BOX OFFICE FROM ONE HOUR BEFORE THE SHOW - TWO SEATS PER PERSON.

International Jazz
The Royal Academy of Music Jazz course has been steadily providing the London jazz scene with some of its most exciting and innovative young players in recent times. It has one of the most dynamic faculties in Europe which has led to many notable award-winning alumni and current students, the standard of whom can be heard in tonight's performance of contemporary and thought provoking music.

Rachmaninov Trio Elegiaque No 1 in G minor Kagel Piano Trio No 2 in one movement Schumann Piano Quintet in E flat major, op. 44
The Dali Piano Trio, prizewinners in several major international competitions, are joined by Academy students for an eclectic programme contrasting Rachmaninov's youthful Trio via Schumann's passionate piano quartet to with theatrical sound-world of Mauricio Kagel.

Friday 19th Two Concerts:

Eight Harps at 6pm David Snell Prelude, Rock blues and Latin Gwylm Simcock Lady of the Lake Gareth Wood Artemis Darius Milhaud Brazileira from 'Scaramouche'

This is a unique chance to hear the extraordinary sound of the Academy's harp ensemble in a variety of styles ranging from Milhaud's groovy Brazileira, Gwylim Simcocks' evocative modern jazz piece, Lady of the Lake David Snell's brilliant new suite and Gareth Wood's latest harp commission, Artemis.

Followed at 19:30 by Mozart and Strauss Royal Academy of Music Symphonic Wind Ensemble
