Under 2Gb download and almost modest minimum system requirements (by Crysis standards anyway)!

Go to this site to check:

You might just get by with that system!

the graphics were disappointing. So were the requirements! I completely maxed it out on a 4850.

Pretty poor game from what i've played, feels like a clunky CoD clone.

Is this the multiplayer demo which came out recently?

Confirmed, this is the same mulltiplayer I download yesterday without the need of steam...

You get to play in two smallish maps. Don't judge the singleplayer by this, as the graphics / effects in mulitplayer are usually more basic to keep the playability/ bandwidth.

Agreed. Crysis is more of a single player game IMHO anyway. It might also be one of those games that runs on a substantially different game engine for single/multi.

I can't recall which games now, but I've heard of some console FPS games that have totally different single/multi game engines, programmed by separate teams.

I think medal of honor was. It used unreal for single player and frostbite for multi.

Wait...so every demo on xbox live and psn and steam should be posted?
#13

I believe that must not be that smoth with a 4850. It is not on my 5770 ( 20 to 40 FPS) and no difference on a 5770x2, no good upscaling at all. It works beautifully on my 6970 at 45 to 70 FPS

You know a pretty case and nice lights don't make a good PC. I could go get a 10 year old AMD Athlon XP system and put it in a pretty case, it doesn't make it good. We need specs (if it's under a Core I7 with mid-high end graphics then it is not 'uber'.

.

I thought the water cooling might be a clue? It's got a water cooled GTX580 and a water cooled overclocked i7 950 at 4GHz with 12GB RAM and a 256GB SSD. Is that uber enough? :p

Good game and doesnt need stupid spec PC to run it, gameplay is very good. Glad they didnt get too bogged down with graphics although they are good. It is not up there with Bullitsorm though.
