Throughout the autumn and winter months Life Cycle is running a brand new project called Bike Guru. Our gurus will appear at different spots around Bristol offering cyclists free bicycle health-checks and giving out free high-visibility cycling gear so you can be seen by other road users. We'll also answer any cycling-related questions you might have and give you advice about cycling safely after dark.
Participating is free - all you have to do is to answer a few quick questions so we can ask you later if our help has made a difference.
We would love to see you with your bicycle at one of our Bike Guru sessions. Many more dates will be added from September onwards, so keep an eye on our website.
If you have any questions, please get in touch.
Im off to pick mine up tommorow. I have spoken to a few friends who have done this and said that the back light is good - one of those LED ones that last ages. The front light is a bright halogen one so the batteries probably wont last long, but it's good to have one to leave on the work bike. The jacket, of course, makes you feel a right muppet, but it is very bright...
Hope this is all okay, first post so go easy on me.
