Offer is available from Paypoint Outlets only NOT PayPoint website.
The offer is from Coca-Cola not Paypoint. PayPoint is just a method of voucher redemption.

I am a paypoint retailer myself. Just had the Point Of Sale displayed and already sold 20+ in last one hour.
#3
we have paypoint in the shop and had no info so may not be nationwide

Why is this cold??
Unless im misunderstandin it, ur gettin a bottle of dr p, fanta, sprite etc for either FREE (if included in ur allowance) or for 10 or 12p???
If this was in a supermarket (bottle of drink for 10/12p, it would be super hot!).

HnR from me, nice 1 :)

I will try this l8r on 2day as there's 1 near my work n let u know how i get on.

I just text the number and got this reply ......
Voucher 99982*** for a FREE 500ml FANTA or DR PEPPER. Valid 12hrs only!
Ts+Cs in-store (Shop: use FIRST TIME TV LICENSE + OTHER then I-MOVO on PayPoint).)

OP should maybe add into the title that the code is only valid for 12hrs :).

Whenever I go into my local Paypoint Outlet with a voucher, they always turn me away.

Don't they have to accept vouchers?

I am sure it's nation wide, doesn't cost you a fortune to send a text message. Send from you mobile and try on your own terminal.
We have 3 paypoint outlets, So far only 1 had the POS direct from Coca-Cola Rep.

They have to, you may call the PayPoint and submit you complaint with the address of retailer. PayPoint will contact the retailer almost on same day. According to terms of contract with Paypoint, a retaier can not choose what to accept and what not to.

but we don't sell the drinks in the offer so even if it does work we had no warning to get the stock in so i would advise all not to text until you are at the shop

I sit here now supping my FREE 500 ml ice cold Dr pepper lol.
Thanks OP, nice 1.

The guy in the shop was actually very helpful.
He said the machine didn't recognise the code and i said that it tells him what to do in the text message.
He said i could take the bottle and he would take it up with paypoint themselves :)

What i found more amazing was that they were trying to charge people £1.23 for the 500ml bottle of Dr pepper!!!!!
#14
today i went to 4 paypoints and their machine said it is not accept at this location!!!!! i don;t know where to go as i already visit my nearest 4 paypoints and all refuse! waste of time to visit and now i know paypoint is not genuine they want my mobile detail!
#15
how do you know about this offer? they never mention on website!!!! i clcik the GO TO DEAL. and no such information. i think it is fake as someone want money and claim themself as paypoint!
#16
It's not fake as i just got 1.
Having said that lol ....... my m8 just went to the same paypoint and they said they've rung their management and that they are not participating in the promotion so it looks like i got lucky.
I would just ring ahead n ask your nearest paypoint if they'll accept the voucher.
#17
When i signed up to paypoint deals it said i could claim a free mars bar. Tried my two local paypoints. One said they are a private seller (?) and the other one said their paypoint machine is not hooked up to the till so he couldnt do it.....so i dont think I will bother :( if only it was simpler!

This is first day of this offer and shortly should spread out all over PayPoint retailers.

If any retailer of PayPoint is reading this post and concerned if he should or should not participate, please note that all vouchers that you redeem through PayPoint are deduction from your day's totals on same day. You don't have to post them or do any thing. It's completely no hassle offer.

Make your customers happy with "free" drinks. You get £1.04 deducted from your PayPoint invoice for every voucher redeemed.

Ok...I went to 4 stores in Cardiff and in only one did they say that they had had an email from their head office about this promo but that was not from Pay Point or the Drinks company!! The lovely manager phoned Pay Point who said that a Coca Cola REP needs to visit each Pay Point store to manually activate this promotion on the pay point machines!! Otherwise they can not accept the code. The manager is highlighting this to his head office as this should have been done before the promo went live and he believes that they will lose custom over this shambles!!!

Having said all that, some of the Pay Point stores don't want to know about this promo so won't even bother to find out about it!! Too much hassle for them! I tried arguing with them but all I have is a code that I can't use today!! Pah!

As per my post, the machines need to be activated to accept the codes which can only be done by the drinks company rep. He has to visit each store to do this and it appears that they haven't been organised enough to do this.
#26
ahh that is why my 4 paypoints in Whitefield and Unsworth don't have the activate machine on! but my voucher valid for 12 hours! and how will i use again and how will i know whether one of paypoint's machine activate?
#27
they demend the leaflet, voucher paper, they keeping asking me for voucher, i said voucher is on the mobile sms. they don;t accept it. they need paper voucher from newspaper or from paypoint leaflet. can someone post PM the attachment for me to print
#28
Paypoint is updated via phoneline, or GPRS connection, so why a rep would have to go out isn't very clear, think maybe some people are getting fobbed off.
#29
Well I popped into my local Paypoint store and was told they I need a swipe card to get any use out of it :?

I told they guy that it was a code sent by txt and even showed it to him, but he still refused.

Does he have a point, or should I report the store to paypoint?
#30
better to keep away from this. I've lost my voucher today.

If you signed up to PayPoint before you will have a 'barcode' picture sent to your phone with individual member number on it. You do get regular promos sent with 20p and 50p of this and that at PayPoint stores. Usually with a time limit of a few days occasionally a month

That's what Pay Point told the manager where i was! He was told that the rep was doing the rounds of Cardiff as we spoke but then, Cardiff is a large city and if they only have one guy doing it then he'll be forever!

No I beleive you were told that, I just think you may have been lied to. For one, why would a rep for coca cola do anything with a paypoint terminal, only a paypoint support member should be going out and messing with them. All updates are usually via phoneline etc - same as when supermarkets have special offers, and theyre updated on the tills overnight - via network rather than somebody going around pressing buttons on every single till.

It sounds a bit like paypoint, and coca-cola havent really communicated this well between not only each other, but also shopkeepers and workers. it's a shame because it would no doubt have increased footfall and revenue for participating stores.
#34
I work in a news agents that has a PP terminal. I will send for a code and see how it works because all we've had is the usual paperwork telling us about the deal but NOT how to actually get it working on the terminal.

Post again tonight when I finish work and hopefully I will know what to do with it.
#35
With all the potential problems, it really not worth the hassle of trying for a 500ml drink, which isnt worth anywhere near its rrp anyhow.

very surprised to read ppl going to multiple stores to try to redeem!!!!! - its a drink!!! - pay a visit to your local tap instead and enjoy a healthier version for [nearly] free.
#36
I can only comment for shops within the Martin Mccolls in this but I tried the codes an says not used at this location. Turns out, the vouchers start on the 28th May as the offer for us starts with the new promotion (P10). I would say it's gonna be the same with other companies.

Taken from MM magazine (TM Retail publication) To be promoted in all stores, this activity is guaranteed to drive uplift and all stores must use the full POS material that will be delivered inside your P10 kits.

Sorry for the quality, was taken on my iPhone. Thats what is coming up at the moment on our Pay Point terminal at Martin Mccolls.

You don't need any sort of card for it to work. All they have to do is tap first tv licence and others on screen and then i-movo, it then asks for the voucher number, press enter and then it should validate the code.

I do wish people would learn to use these things.

That's what they are doing but not getting anywhere!! The guy I spoke to did it in front of me and he got the 'voucher not valid at this location' message. They are not all daft....it's just not working!
