  I'm guessing you have to keep in mind what the colours relate to in size-terms? The tape itself doesn't have sizes written on it directly as far as I can tell.

  seems confusing. they still have a size guide in cms and inchs as far as i can see, so not sure what the colours on tape measure are about. in £1 shop they have a sewing kit, and inside is a tape measure :) with numbers on :)
