would rather play with money. more use of maths for the kids and more chance to swindle, rob and cheat to victory. It wouldnt be monopoly without a fight over someone being accused of robbing from the bank when changing a note.

But then you can't hide an emergency stash under the stair carpet to raid on the way to the loo when you're close to bankruptcy.

So in theory, you could take all your 50M notes and get many games one at a time, provided someone else serves you. Probably better if you go in a group...then you can all do it.

Excellent. Will the electronic bank also implement NIRP so it can be as fully realistic as possible?!

Kids, listen, buy a safe, keep your precious cash in there, so uncle Carney can't take any of it!!

that seems so, but they would probably notice soon enough if done a lot of times. Wouldn't hurt to give it a try.

Page in link says 3rd - 9th September now (so starts on Saturday).
#12
why is that they have mentioned 50M note? is it any different to 50 note?

M is the currency in monopoly. so instead of £50 it's 50M

Is this a game for you phone/tablet or a physical item?

Does it have to be an original monopoly 50M note?

We have a Simpsons Monopoly Board - would a 50 from that be OK?

I think it's a 50 from any monopoly board

Is this just for the electronic board?, or the whole shebang...ie the complete game, board, cards, cheating, prison, despair and a life in ruins etc...
#21
Has anyone actually claimed this deal yet? As doesn't seem clear how much money you have to trade in?

it starts on Saturday. give them a 50 monopoly note, they stamp it and give it back to you and you get a free game.
#23
But how would the store know if one has bene claimed by a household? Surely they ask you to fill in a form or something!?

After getting sent to jail, I spent the next hour being held face down over a table and getting violently taken up the ****.

Sometimes I think my uncle Brian takes Monopoly a bit too seriously...

Didn't Trump take all the hotels in this game?
#26
theres only 5 games on the link above http://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/page/o/monopoly-games/

Well done to you.
By the way, which branch did you go to? And did they have plenty in stock?

I am thinking of going to beckton branch tomorrow, but don't want to waste my time if they are out of stock.

Got one at Colchester store, there was a queue when it opened at 9am and loads more people arriving as I left. Families with multiple children were all getting one, so the one per household rule didn't seem to be being enforced, they just signed the 50M note and gave it back. I'd expect an influx of these on eBay and similar sites in the next day or two...
#36
Just got one from the Oldbury branch, plenty of stock left but it was running out quick!
#37
stock at falkirk. queue of maybe 10 ahead of me. well organised with staff who know what they are doing a a calm queue of patient people. not the usual hukd wild goose chase.
#38
Got mine, but that was insane. Queue of about 30 when opening at Bournemouth. I found it funny everyone ripped apart the monopoly board game isle and didn't realise they hand them out to you.

I managed to grab one from the Beckton store about 20 mins ago, they're behind the till. I saw around 10 on top of a trolley, there may have been more at the bottom. Didn't see anyone else queuing to get one.

Thanks OP! :)
