is it me or have they made tons and tons of these bulbs and cant sell them so their giving them away free now?...cus all last week..there was a coupon for 2 free bulbs, eachday in the sun paper...got like 12 bulbs free altogether...lol......most of these bulbs are gonna end up in landfill site cus these energy saving bulbs meant to last longer too...lol

Lol, at this rate, and given they last for years, we'll be done with this type of bulbs before I've gone through my whole growing collection! I hear soon we'll all have LED lightbulbs, even more energy-saving and lasting for a lifetime.

You need to provide an electricity meter reading from now, and from 12 months ago. If you're not sure what your readings are and feel the need to "guesstimate", bear in mind that the UK average is 3300 units per year.
