If you claim one of the benefits below you can claim free energy saving light bulbs and a Power Down Plug (shut down other electrical items when you shut down a PC etc... IE your printer and monitor when you shut down your PC) at e-on online shop.

Benefits include:
# Council Tax Benefit (not including single occupancy reduction)
# State Pension Credit/Working Tax Credit (where the relevant income is £14,600 or less)
# Child Tax Credit (where the relevant income is £14,600 or less)
# Disablement Pension
# Disability Living Allowance (which includes constant attendance allowance)
# War Disablement Pension (which includes either a mobility supplement or constant attendance allowance)
# Income-based jobseeker's Allowance
# Attendance Allowance
# Housing Benefit

A direct link doesn't work, so you'll need to do the following to claim the deal.

Go to the following address:
http://www.eonenergy.com/At-Home/

Then click the "Our Energy Shop" link. Scroll down "Do you receive any benefits such as income support? You may be eligible for further discounts." and click the link below. Tick any of the boxs that apply. You may be asked for details, so you do genuinely have to be on benefits.

It doesn't apply to me, but I hope it will help someone, and that people will pass the info on to anyone they know that claims benefits. I sent it to a friend, and his bulbs arrived about 7 days later.

Too right! I often wonder what would happen if we all gave up work and let the 'state' (aka tax-paying mugs) support us. The whole system would tumble down.

Many thanks for the offer:)

So have you worked and paid taxes for sixty years, fought for your country and now have a disability which qualifies you for help? (My parents have and they will benefit from this offer.)

Until you have, I suggest you shut your sour semi-literate trap and save your third-hand bigotry for your next rally or dog-fight. The only 'mugs' are those who believe the 'sponging epidemic' propaganda fed you by the Tory press, so effective at 'divide and rule'.

Most of the 'benefits' listed are for the working poor, children, or those past working age, fool. That's where the vast majority of welfare spending goes, and there have never been so many people in work. Many on the minimum wage which your kind fought so nobly to prevent.

Incidentally, if you hate the 'something for nothing' culture, why the hell are you reading a freebies forum?

(Try typing 'hypocrite' into dictionary.com)

Now go and get an education. It's free. Until your lot get in.

God Bess.

#27
i got a letter from them so i applied for them i passed on the details to another person they have got them i never
but eon have been bothering me for about nine months now to pay £72 for electric
i have a key meter pay as you use
every letter i have had from them i have phoned them and told them i pay as i go and they say just ignore the letter but a week or so later another letter
so i phone them again and get told just ignore them its the computer
after nine months of this i have got fed up of them so my last phone call to them i said will you put me in court to get it then it might get sorted
two days later i got a letter saying as i have not made an effort to contact them they are going to put me in county court
thank god for that ohhhh i forgot to say for the last twenty years i have been a customer of northern electric now powergen

be careful with this one you might get a bill for electric:oops:
#28
How can you get a bill for electric if they aint your supplier its an order for light bulbs and a plug and a costing of £0.00 according to there website, they can get up for false advertising, it clearly states free light bulbs and plug not electric supply
