It's free! ok it's not for everyone but how can this not be hot?
Don't vote cold just because you are not eligible, just be glad that you are not eligible.

Great Offer/find
Unfortunately only available to those who get something from the state and not available to those of us who contribute week after week and take out nothing.

While ever we keep giving things to people who don't work they will never get off their Bum and work.
Maybe one day a company will offer something free to just/only people who work.

I'm offended by the above post. If you had been intelligent enough to check the list of benefits that you have to be on to get this you will see that one of them is WORKING tax credit, which is the benefit I receive. How do you suppose someone receives working tax credits if they do not work?

Great, I don't qualify but anything that helps the elderly and those in need is hot in my book.

Good find!

Hi

Thank you for your support, that is what I was thinking for those who voted my post cold. It was not fair. I called the company to check if it was ok before posting too and that is how I found out it is not for everyone. I could have not bothered to post it even, but I thought other people could take advantage of it even if I couldn't.
So thank you for saying this.
+ R for you.

i wouldnt want you small-minded bigots to miss an opportunity to vote something else cold so here is another chance to moan. oh, by the way i am a single parent raising 3 children whilst paying a mortgage, and working 16 hours a week, with no support from my ex and im pretty sure i work a damn sight harder than you! if you dont earn enough money grow some balls and moan at your boss for a raise, not kick people who are trying their best in unfortunate circumstances, often beyond their control.or maybe it makes you feel big?

There are people who HAVE been taxpayers all their lives and due to circumstances they fall into the non taxpayer category. These people are well entitled to benefit from any help they can get. Those who have voted this cold just because you cant get would do well to remember this cos YOUR time will come!!!! Voted HOT.

So your you are getting tax credits, council tax benefit and help towards your mortgage interest payments. nice for some. As you don't get support from your ex you get help from the state. We did not choose your situation but we damn well pay for it.

I suggest we need to be very careful before we label all people receiving some kind of social financial assistance as lazy.

Unfortunately our leaders in Westminster have been very ineffective at differentiating between those in society that genuinely need help and those that are trying it on. But surely at least the more intelligent ones amongst us can see the difference between people trying to do their best and getting some support, and people who are lazy?

If you want to have a go find someone who is long term unemployed but could work if only they could be bothered. Or someone who is faking a disability just to defraud the rest of us. Then do you bit for society and REPORT THEM. But don't pick on pensioners, those that are genuinely ill, or hard working parents bringing up their kids in difficult circumstances. Because YOU could easily end up in one of those groups and then YOU too would be entitled to support.

Not everyone receiving some kind of benefit is lazy. Some are just having a tough time and society is helping them out. However I think you'll find honest people that genuinely need help have even more dislike for the cheats that are defrauding us all. Those are the people we should all be angry at.

people who make comments like that will never understand or try and help until they have been or know someone in that situation....

me and my partner are on benefit help at the moment and i assure you its not as glam as the media portray it we do struggle as my partner gets disability living allowance and care im on maternity leave and we get help with our rent and council tax, i am 25 years old and and worked and paid tax since i was 16 years old and my oh did the sdame until he was jumped on and beaten with a baseball bat and plank of wood which left him parsily blind and epileptic, i suggest those who are moaning about those on benefits need to open their eys and minds and know that not everyone on benefits wants to be on them my OH would love to go out to work everyday and feel proud to be earning a living which he cant

i feel that these people who live the life of reilly on benefits must be working on the side because we are definatly not flush with cash

I work full-time (over 40hrs p/w), pay a whole load of tax and NI, and receive a disability allowance, so I could claim. I've also had my home insulated under the Warm Front scheme. Those people that whinge about others getting something for nothing should be greatful that they have their health!
#30
Thank you Fab post. Some people are real whingers!!
#31
I think people on here forget we are all going to be elderly at some point and need help. With the current economic climate how it is too i think some should try to keep their mouths zipped about benefits. I have always worked but my job is no more secure than the next persons.
Voted HOT :) Thanks yamlan - good post despite some peoples bitterness!
#32
Absolute noobs.... This is an awesome deal as it helps the people that need help. People that complain about the elderly should bear in mind that they too were once tax payers and that the complainers will also be elderly in the future.... swings and roundabouts as they say :whistling:

Voted hot for all the people that can utilise this deal that really need it. Of course there's thieving b*****d's who will benefit from this scheme as well, the same thieves that have no intention on looking for a job because they are happy from being on the dole and happy to just leech off the state, but it's not fair to tarnish everyone with the same brush - the benefits system does need a good old shake up to see who's genuine and who ain't but it doesn't take away from the fact that there are people out there who genuinely need financial assistance, and there are people out there that genuinely deserve it.

Oh, and by the way, non-benefit claimer working full time here. Luckily I've got my health to be able to do so :)

Actually by working over 30 hours a week and not on a great wage!

Yep you are lucky to have your health and just to push it home again not EVERY SINGLE PERSON on benefit WANTS to be!! The current state of people trying to find work that will keep a roof over their head and food on their plate is hellish to say the least. It truly saddens me to see so many people who are quick to bash those who are not as fortunate as they are.
