Ok may be I miss read something somewhere but from the original link I got the impression it was a free family day offered by Peugeot :o The original link doesn't show any prices anywhere & does say 'it's on us' but you need a promo code.

Renault did the same thing at Donnington Park a year or two ago.

The motorways all around the track were CHOCK FULL. Because what people did; they claimed for 4 tickets, and then must've gave them out to individual people with their own cars, or couples, etc.

Didn't help that the airport was nearby, and alton towers ( ? ). Apparently stopped some planes setting off because pilots were stuck in traffic!

Btw; clicked it and signed up for some tickets. Didn't need a promo code. Heat added.

Its simple - if you clicky on the silverstone link http://www.silverstone.co.uk/php/rm_leMansSeries.html you can see the normal prices at the bottom of the page.

The other link http://www.peugeotsport.co.uk/silverstone/tc.php confirms the family day is part of the LeMans series - details on the 3rd & 4th line this page

I have checked the OP's origanal link http://www.peugeotsport.co.uk/silverstone/register.php i can't see any place to enter a promo code & did not have to enter one when i ordered mine)

If you look on the Silverstone website there is already an event on that weekend, that's where the prices come from.
But for whatever reason Peugeot have managed to arrange free tickets for the Sunday only.

I can't imagine all those who bought tickets for the Sunday will be too pleased. Luckily I hadn't bought my tickets yet! :-D

The timetable for sunday seems to be lacking a bit of detail though

Donington was brilliant! Traffic wasn't helped last year by the fact the MaCans flew in to the airport midday & the media were swarming the place.

Where am I going wrong? The link I'm clicking on left by the OP is requesting a promo code with an * next to it which means mandatory. I've tried leaving it blank & it says promo code not valid.

Yes i understand exactly what you are saying - & yes i might be wrong, but here is the quote from the page that leads me to belive the 2 events are tied in together :-

Peugeot Motor Company PLC (“Peugeot”) is making these free tickets available for the Le Mans Series Race at Silverstone on Sunday 14th September 2008 (“the Event”) by special arrangement with SCL Circuits Limited (“SCL”), the operators of Silverstone (“the Venue”).

When I click on the link the very last box on the form is for a promo code. It's underneath the childrens tickets & above the tick box for the therms & conditions. How come I seem to be the only person having this problem

Checked again - no promo code box ?
#24
The "World Series by Renault" event at Silverstone this year was packed but a great day out. Hopefully the Peugeot event will be just as good.

The website lets you order 4 adult & 4 child tickets but the T&C says "A maximum of 4 tickets can be requested per person." I hope that means 4 adult tickets.
#25

I told my friends on facebook about this deal and they were all saying they were being asked for a promotional code too.

I got this message back:

"Keep trying Sarah's link. It seem's its a bit hit and miss if you actually get to the page, or peugeots home page or the right page but needing a code! Keep popping back and trying, You'll get there eventually - I did! Got 4 adult tickets and 4 childrens tickets (waiting at the gate) Got my confirmation email too".
