Metacritic score: 85
IMDB: 7.4

The story of a young girl's choice between Oxford and the university of life. Sixteen and gifted, Jenny is destined for Oxford. Her parents' own dreams of fulfilment are built on Jenny's success. However, her eyes are opened to a world of glamorous possibility beyond the boundaries of suburbia when she meets the considerably older, distinctly urbane, David.

Why is this a cold deal if it's free?

this isnt a deal for a dvd???
No, but it means you get to watch it for free, rather than pay, which makes it a good deal for me.

I watched this film with my wife last night. We were originally planning to rent a movie on Apple TV - but a quick scan of the films available on the BBC iPlayer revealed a good selection of suitable films, available in both standard and High Definition formats. Best of all, all content on iPlayer is free.

An excellent deal - heat added!

Well done BBC!

Except, you need a Sky subscription to watch Anytime, so it`s not free.

cannot disagree with your point, but not the point i was trying to making

That said when is something actually "free" ,

if something is free eg to download is it free as you would need to have paid for an internet connection, the same would also apply if you have to fill in a web form

you also need a tv licence to watch BBC ( even via the web)
ect

You could extend that idea and say that there are no freebies at all, since we need to buy food to give us energy to click on the wee icons on these computers. As well as paying for the electricity we need to power our computers.

But that way madness lies. ;)

you also need a tv licence to watch BBC ( even via the web)
Only if you`re watching `Live`, you don`t need a licence to watch `catch up`.

A bit of a nerdy question but does anyone know the total data size of the film in HD would be if I streamed it? Only asking as I've got a stupid data limit!
