FREE award-winning Fish & Chips at MyChippy, Enfield, London, (Try some of UK's top Fish and Chips)

On Tuesday 21st March 2017, MyChippy.com will be hosting a "FREE award-winning Fish & Chips” event to raise awareness of the “Fishermen's Mission" charity. To support “Fishermen’s Mission”, we would like to maximise exposure for this charity through doing what we do best - which is serve as much of the best quality fish & chips to the people of Enfield as possible within 2 1/2 hours.

The KFE school of frying excellence will be sending down one of their trainers Mark Petrou to help us serve “FREE award-wining Fish & Chips” to the hungry people of Enfield for lunch. Enfield has never had an outright winner of the prestigious title of “National Fish & Chip Shop Winner” - hence it will be great for us to get some tips, the people of Enfield to try some of the best fish & chips they will ever taste, and all in aid of raising awareness of the “Fishermen’s Mission” Charity.

For the "FREE award-winning fish & chips" event, MyChippy.com will be donating exclusive use of the shop, Mark Petrou will be donating his time/effort/expertise and one hundred copies of his book: "Fish & chips: a national treasure: celebrating 150 years of Britain's favourite dish”, and other suppliers/businesses will be donating much much more. We are expecting the event to be very popular, hence to avoid disappointment - please register above for your "FREE portion of award-winning fish & chips" and a chance to win lots of other goodies.

Surely not everyone is going to get FREE Fish and Chips from Yorkshire too? You can't make a comment like that without going around to try them all first to compare, especially as it is FREE! <3 It's like saying your home town has the best curries in the world without ever leaving your home town or UK.:p This seems to be well rated and up there with the top according to the articles, I'll be making a trip up there to try. :)

Oh I've been to a lot of fish and chip establishments around the country. Yorkshire is not my home county BTW. Perhaps you ought to visit Skipton, Whitby or even little West Yorkshire towns like Ilkley and Otley and sample their fish and chips. If you've been to a Rick Steins then there's plenty of small operators that put him (and indeed Harry Ramsden) to shame. There's not a lot free in London so its a good deal but I think for award winning food I'd be looking at Ethnic Cuisine to get the most out of a 'foodie' visit to London :D

Thanks for your comment, and recommendations, but after reading up a bit more in to it after your comment, I saw on one of the TripAdvisor comments that the current fryer at this place is from Whitby, North Yorkshire! X) So a bit of Yorkshire delivered to London and I guess part of the reason why this place achieved some of it's recent awards. Getting more and more hungry the more I think about it, looking forward to it, I can't wait! :D
