From Engadget:
It's hard to believe that it's been a year single Google's streaming dongle arrived on the backs of TVs, bringing easy streaming chops to the masses. As a proper celebration, the folks in Mountain View are thanking both current and new Chromecasters with three free months of Google Play Music All Access -- starting today through September 30th. The company has been keen on adding new features to the accessory regularly, and in the festive announcement teased the ability to beam content while away from your WiFi and customizable homescreens as upcoming additions. Heck, with that bit of subscription savings, you'll almost have enough for a second unit.

This offer is not available for anyone who has previously subscribed to Google Play Music All Access, either on a paid or free trial basis.

Not tried on my own as yet but some comments say US only - from a forum:
I have just gone on to the Offers page and it is available for UK customers.

Can someone on HUKD in the UK confirm who has a Chromecast ???

Should be the Unlimited Music - Google Play Music All Access

I'll have a look when I get back later, thanks!

The offer shows as available for me in the UK, but my Chromecast was imported from the US, so not sure how useful that info is.

It's also worth noting that if you have ever used Google Play All Access, even just the trial, you won't be eligible for the offer. I already had my trial, so nothing for me :(
comes up on my Chromecast but as above I had a trial before so can't use
Probably worth reiterating the following to avoid disappointment

This offer is not available for anyone who has previously subscribed to Google Play Music All Access, either on a paid or free trial basis.

Otherwise I'd effectively getting them for free.

Confirmed working on my UK Chromecast i got free from Wuaki. You have to be connected to your Chromecast when you visit the link worth noting. Thanks OP
Awesome - thanks for posting. It's working for me.
I already subscribe to Spotify so this would be a bit redundant (I guess I could cancel my sub for 3 months...) but is there anything the Google Music does better?
Good deal if you new to google play music

looks like u can just create a new account if you have already had a trial tho its not linked to ur chromecast account
Can you unlink the accounts?
Just clicked on google cast says i have it without doing anything sign up ect
cool, it works...looks like you can also cancel subscription right away while keeping the trial for 3 months.
I imported a US chromecast into UK and I can confirm I got the offer.

I couldn't get it redeemed via an iOS device(just kept linking me to app but nothing else), I ended up logging onto computer and checking offers, worked first time.

3 months free of all play confirmed - I'm still liking spotify a lot more though.
Got £5 play credit too.
Yup working here for me also!
it would be a good deal but many who use and have android ICS are having lots of problems casting just now and have been for weeks.!msg/chromecast/lK0J8ExyQB0/JHQXKtKGhyMJ

Yes, many have experienced problems including me since the update to enable desktop mirroring. My Nook HD+ worked perfectly with my chromecast . Now it only displays the cast icon on Netlfix and Youtube. A major fail on googles part.
it seems a fix has been identified. From a google employee "Hi Everyone,

A fix has been identified and will be rolling out soon--we will post when we know exactly when.

How do you actually get this working?
I went onto offers and redeemed the offer then opened the app but it just asks if I want to start a 30 day trail.
And when I want to cancel it where do I go?
Also last thing can I only use this on my Gmail account or is it any Gmail as long as it's used with the chromecast that's got the offer
Thanks op

Signed into my cc said redeem. So hit the button and sent me to general google play screen but my account is still standard. Have not had a 30 day trial before??? Strange. Maybe it takes some time to update ??
cant wait for mine to arrive. 10 working days was on friday...
Anyone else had problems?

I got the offer but only get the 30 day trial when I open the app.. I have never open google music prior to this?

Anyone in the same boat and did you find a fix?
OK, at first I didn't think this would work, but I managed to get it working on my computer!

I have an imported US Chromecast, started it up, and then in a web browser on another machine, searched for Google Chromecast Offers (using Google Chrome) and it came up first link. Asks to find Chromecast, which is did, then found one offer. When you click on Redeem, it leads to Google Music portal for you to claim 90 days :) sweet!

I didn't know you can download 'radio stations' That is going to make tube journeys very interesting going to and from work!

Very hot!
Better than nothing but the previous £5 Play credit was a much better offer :(
Just want to note that this didn't work straight from my Android phone, or iPad, but it worked directly from a Chrome browser on my Mac. I am assuming it would work on the PC as well using Chrome. You should be signed into your Google account whilst you try to redeem the offer. From the Chrome browser, it will find your Chromecast when you search for it using this link:

NOTE: You should only redeem if it explicitly says 'Try All Access for 90 days' before you click the 'Try All Access' button, as once you've committed your CC details, theres no going back. You know it's worked if it says they don't start changing your CC until late Oct. (I got 24 Oct).

Enjoy!! :)

You don't need to buy chrome cast of you want 3 months free Google music. use this:
Redeemed the offer but on the iPhone it's the same as the free version? Confused don't think it's syncing tidy on certin devices.
Isn't this the Google Play Music trial offer? Or additional one?
It's a trial offer for 90 days instead of the regular 30. When you claim the offer it actually says: SPECIAL OFFER 90 trial period before you commit to it. If you have redeemed the trial offer before. It won't work. And no, it isn't the same as the free version as during the trial you can access any new album, or a whole load of curated playlists and radio stations for free, and even download a bunch of these to play offline. It's really good.
FYI, I had around 6,000 songs loaded into my Google Play music account before signing up to this trial, after I cancelled the subscription renewal, my library now shows as empty, is this intended as I now have 'All Access'? Will they show up again once the trial period is over? oO
90 day free trial just worked for me too :)
Says there is no offers for me....

Quick update - I had already used the free trial when Google Play Music All Access went live, so didn't think this would work, but it has. Three months free All Access! I should add that my Chromecast was imported from the US.
is this still on?
