Jump to unread Post a Commentno, not vouchers, but a card in the post with a membership number on (also, deals can vary on amount of discount offered hence the up to 50%).
The membership number is also your online login id (think you get your password with the card) to see which restaurants you can use, along with terms & conditions of use (ie number of guests permitted per visit, free dessert with main, 50% off food bill, only valid before 7pm....etc).
To get the discount you need to ring your desired restaurant (providing they accept The Gourmet Society deal), make a reservation & mention The Gourmet Society card (remember to take it with you when you dine or you pay full price) & re-state to your server you have a Gourmet Society card as it may not have been noted down & you end up paying full price at the end of the meal....:)
Will let you know, how I get on. In the mentime anybody with the G. Society?
I have just cancelled my membership with Love First for misleading me.

That's odd - they're still advertising the deal, even now. That doesn't exactly inspire confidence in Lovefilm.

Terms and Conditions Number 1 - 1. This offer expires at midnight on 17/08/2011. Reckon you could take them to ASA for this!!
The whole Lovefilm experience has been very shabby for me, and I'll never use them again. Their T&C, for example, certainly don't state that:
Please note: Your free trial will expire when we send your last free rental, or after 14 days, whichever is the sooner
But that's what it will show on your account, and that's the way they try to operate the free trial period. This may well end up rather shorter than the period you're expecting - with a debit to your credit card earlier than you expect - and before you have time to cancel.
I've learned in just a few days not to trust Lovefilm - even though it is owned by Amazon, who should know better.
It's been back a while, but I gather Lovefilm are being difficult about honouring the offer. :(
