how funny is it that Guns and Roses have to give away free tickets for people to watch them now... If you want to see a proper guns and roses show go and see Slash....
#4
amazing!! so this is a free gig?
#5
Thank you!!!
#6
Yes free tickets, I suspect they are filming and want to fill seats to make the atmosphere, or in the case of the Bon Jovi seats I got, had the expensive ones at the front that they try and fleece people for and gave away the few remaining that didn't sell.

If it's level 4, just don't book if you are afraid of heights!

I agree W. Axel Rose is a w@#&£r - Slash rules but this is still a hot deal !

I'm sure a GnR tribute band doing AFD would rock !
#8
Thank you!!! This great.
#9
I kinda would go but have plans and well it's not really GNR anymore lol. :p

But hey voted hot free gig just me being in Leicester makes it less appealing. Good find though.

I saw them a couple of years ago at Wembley and they were still very good. GnR have a habit of running late though so just be careful if you have last trains to catch that you have a back up plan or don't mind missing half the show.

Or at Hammersmith, missing all the show as they were THAT late.
Example

or Axl Rose bottled offstage at Guns N' Roses' Dublin gig

Didn't they get boo'ed at Reading or Leeds or somewhere like that too?

Seems desperate to give tickets away.

Umm these tickets were on sale for like £50+. Just imagine how **** you would be if you could have gone for free.

Same (ish) thing Bon Jovi did reducing tickets at the last minute. Got mine half price and then they suddenly did them for £10 each which frustrated me a little. :p
#13
Any idea how strict they will be with names? I have the tickets in
My name as site messing around with partners account and I'm not going

they didn't care at Bon Jovi as i got some for people who missed out
#16
I wonder how bad are the seats
#17
After the shambles at Reading, I wouldn't go even if they were free.
There is a reason they are free and the article below is probably why.

It's a lottery, I had first 15 rows for Bon Jovi, others had up in the gods.

I assume that everyone with a ticket will get in and it's not a first come first served?

LOL, i was up with the gods when i saw Linkin Park, good times :D

So i take it, you just go to O2, give the ticket at the gates and they tell you where to go?
#23
Just did a quick try to buy on Ticketmaster, no level 4 seats available, only level one and standing

See seating plan

You are an ignorant fool dont ever quote me without stating proper facts. Slash is mixed race no longer with the group could help you understand why he is not with the group you fool.

Below is the lyrics from the 1st album of gun n roses i aint even a fan i am aware of the racism he has been known for you a socalled fan dont know this yet you want to call me a clown, you 1st class **** read the lyrics below and then shut your mouth.
Guns N' Roses
GN'R Lies (1989)
One in a Million

1,2,1,2,3,4
(Whistle)
Guess I needed sometime to get away
I needed some piece of mind
Some piece of mind that'll stay
So I thumbed it down to Sixth and L.A.
Maybe a Greyhound could be my way

Police and Niggers, that's right
Get out of my way
Don't need to buy none of your
Gold chains today
I don't need no bracelets
Clamped in front of my back
Just need my ticket; 'til then
Won't you cut me some slack?

You're one in a million
Yeah, that's what you are
You're one in a million, babe
You're a shooting star
Maybe someday we'll see you
Before you make us cry
You know we tried to reach you
But you were much too high
Much too high, much too high,
Much too high, yes, ow!

Immigrants and faggots
They make no sense to me
They come to our country
And think they'll do as they please
Like start some mini Iran,
Or spread some ****' disease
They talk so many goddamn ways
It's all Greek to me

Well some say I'm lazy
And others say that's just me
Some say I'm crazy
I guess I'll always be
But it's been such a long time
Since I knew right from wrong
It's all the means to an end, I
I keep it movin' along

You're one in a million
Oo, you're a shooting star
You're one in a million, babe
You know that you are
Maybe someday we'll see you, Oo
oh, Before you make us cry
You know we tried to reach you
But you were much too high
Much too high, Oo, much too high
Yeah,
Much too high, huh, no, no, oh
Ow!

Radicals and Racists
Don't point your finger at me
I'm a small town white boy
Just tryin' to make ends meet
Don't need your religion
Don't watch that much T.V.
Just makin' my livin', baby
Well that's enough for me

You're one in a million
Yeah that's what you are
You're one in a million, babe
You're a shooting star
Maybe someday we'll see you
Before you make us cry
You know we tried to reach you
But you were much too high
Much too high, ow, much too high,
Much too high, much too high
Yeah, yeee, yeah, yeee, igh!
Ow! Much too high
(Oh, much too high, ah,
much too high, ah, much too high
much too high, ow, much too high)*

*Whispered with gradual fade out

I've got the album

I know all about the issues

There current drummer is black

Former guitarist Slash is mixed race ... Slash was born in Hampstead, an affluent neighbourhood in London to a white Jewish English father and a Nigerian mother

I also like the N.W.A

GnR aren't racist - Let's not mention the homophobia !?

By 1992, however, Rose seemed to have gained new perspective on the song and its lyrics. In one interview, he conceded that the word had been used as an insult, but added, "I was **** off about some black people that were trying to rob me. I wanted to insult those particular black people. I didn't want to support racism."

Fellow GN'R member, Slash, whose mother is black, noted that he did not condone the song but did not condemn his bandmate, commenting in a 1991 interview with Rolling Stone: "When Axl first came up with the song and really wanted to do it, I said I didn't think it was very cool... I don't regret doing 'One in a Million,' I just regret what we've been through because of it and the way people have perceived our personal feelings." [9]

In 1988, rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin told rock critic Nick Kent that the lyrics simply reflected the poor race relations of inner-city Los Angeles

Peace Out
