Thanks, H & R added. It's over ten years since I had my hair cut so I'm hoping I'll be better off in a unisex salon but I confess I am getting a bit nervous now!

Code worked fine. Rep added. Hopefully the wife will thank me for this.

Based on 4 tries, I can conclude that Hairgroup are not brilliant at getting back to you (actually, might be individual hairsalons that are at fault?).

75% of the time I have not heard a peep after returning a coupon...

Hope to have better luck this time (will try with a different name)...

Thanks for the encouragement, Chris.

It says: "Offer valid for free cut and finish (blow dry) only. Any additional services taken up charged at normal rate by salon. 3. Salon has right to choose level of technician who will carry out service as well as day of week reader can take up offer."

Someone told me they think I might be rejected for a "free cut" because my hair is halfway down my back and it would count as being a "re-style" (what's a re-style?). He said I should go for being a model instead.

It's weird, as a nervous patient you can go to a "special care" clinic to get dental treatment. But I don't think there is an equivalent for customers of hairdressers and barbers, is there?

If I don't hear from The Hair Group soon, maybe I'll leave it for another decade! :lazy:
#32
They were supposed to contact me within 22 days :-/ No one ever did.
#33
Wasn't sure if I should get my hair cut, now I can blame someone else for my procrastination! oO Just had the following email ...

"Thank you for entering The Hair Group promotion in the Sunday Mirror. Unfortunately there are no available salons in your area at the moment; we are actively seeking new salons to join. While you are waiting to have a haircut we would like to offer you free of charge an upgrade to either a family portrait voucher or a makeover voucher, if you are interested in either please contact our customer services department on the below number. We will endeavor (sic) to get a salon in your area as soon as possible and forward your details to them when one is available."

In my area = London!

I heard nothing, no email, no phone call. My last contact with a hairdresser was when one rammed the back of my car when we were waiting at a junction. Got fed up waiting and trimmed my own hair, easy enough to do when it's long :)
