All you have to do is subscribe to 'Jellyfish', which is an online magazine. Its a sort of celeb/gossip type mag. The offer applies only to a cut and blow dry, but for FREE!! Woohoooo!!

Here are the terms and conditions:

Terms & Conditions

Offer includes a free cut and finish (blow dry) only. Any additional services taken up will be charged at normal rate by the salon. The salon has the right to choose the level of technician who will carry out the service as well as the day of the week that the reader can take up the offer. No more than one Hair Group voucher per person can be redeemed in a 12 month period. Entrants must be over 18 years of age (unless accompanied by a legal parent or guardian) and UK residents. There is no cash alternative. Once allocated to a salon the voucher is valid for 3 months. All entries must be on original coupon vouchers. No photocopies accepted. Incorrectly completed, photocopied, damaged or defaced coupon vouchers will not be accepted. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of receipt. A journey time of up to 30 minutes in some areas of the UK may be necessary to the nearest salon. All Hair Group salons trade under their own names and are independent companies. Some salons do not offer afro services. Although we have a large quantity of salon members throughout the UK we are unable to guarantee availability for each region. However, consumer details will be kept on record and will be contacted when a salon is recruited to The Hair Group within the promotional period. Please note, not all salon areas listed take part in the full "free haircut offer". The Hair Group and its promotional partners are not responsible for any services provided in its members' salons. The offer is subject to availability and the promoter reserves the right to substitute this offer for an alternative of equal or greater value. The voucher cannot be resold. Not all salons participate with free haircut offers. No in-salon purchase is necessary. The offer may not be exchanged or transferred. Some salons may require a fully refundable booking deposit. Any verbal or physical abuse towards salons or salon staff will deem your entry invalid and will disqualify you from the promotion.

I know there has been a few other free haircut offers lately, but u can never have too many free haircuts!!!

Happy haircutting ;o)

It does a bit ade!! ha ha. Im not sure exactly where u can get ur haircut, they are supposed to contact u (i think) and let u know the nearest salon to u were u can get ur barnet chopped. I dont think the salons themselves r called 'hair group', mind u, I could be wrong!!
#9
Oh right. Well I don't want some 60 year old women singing in my ear instead of a haircut now do I! :giggle:

I actually got my letter in the post yesterday!! I honestly didnt think this offer was gonna come good, but Ive got my letter and am going to be making my appointment!! Free haircut.....and it says there is a gift waiting for me worth £50!! What could it be??? lol
Anyone else get theirs??
#17
Funnily enough, yesterday I rang the salon I got my invite from.

They are open every day of the week, so I asked for a Sunday, when I said (as thought better had) it was a complimentary cut and finish she sighed! Then went on to say how 'Steve' may change your appointment to another day as he may not want to come in for that!

How rude is that! Actually, don't feel like going now as already feel like a scrounger before I even set foot in the place!
#18
Oh my God. Suze, thats awful!! How flippin rude!!
I dont blame u tho, dont think I would want to go either. Feel nervous about ringing up myself now!! lol
#19
Did this once with a Times newspaper promotion but the salon they offered me was pokey and nasty with terrible hairdressers and reputaion so I didn't use the voucher. It completely depends on where you live - a friend had a great experience and seeing as it's free, there's no harm in trying to get the voucher, but just check out the salon before committing to an appointment!
#20
I'm not worried about the salon, it's a really top, nice salon.

It's just the receptionists (or whoever answered the phone) attitude towards my having a freebie and suggesting that it may be altered as "Steve" may not want to come in for that!

I'm in two minds as to cancel. They do an on-line booking service, which I did try to use a few weeks back. But, they never got back to me, thats why I ended up telephoning them.

I assumed there could be problems with the on-line system but, now I just think they can't be a***d with freebies.
#21
I can't see any mention of a free voucher when signing up to the newsletter?
#22
well Suze if you dont want to use your voucher then my girlfriend would :)
#23
I am going to use the voucher as if they are in the freebie promotion they should be prepared to do the freebies - that's the way it works after all!!

I go a week on Sunday so, I'll post here as to how it went!
#24
Well I hope it works out for u Suze and u get a great haircut!
Keep us posted!! :-D

Sorry jellybean, its expired! I posted it back in May.....shouldve altered the post! Sorry

I rang the salon on Thursday and asked if any slots for today available (rather than going Sunday and having someone cutting my hair who didn't want to be there - see #18 post)

Anyway, I went this morning and the girl who cut my hair couldn't have been nicer! And.......I love my new hair cut!

It was true to the voucher, didn't cost me a penny (although I did tip £5, but well worth it!) :-D
