Precaller has just introduced a new service -.

send 'top' or 'pre' to +447937987200 by SMS. Please check if this number is included in your text message bundle before sending multimple messages; this will depend on your mobile operator. Each SMS gets two credits

2 credits = 2p or such. I have checked with my operator and the text is a uk number so its free. I sent LOADS of texts using sms scheduler (free app on android phones) and netted LOADS OF credit! you can use your credit by dialing a 020 number from your mobile.

ps you can also use the credit to call 0870 numbers. mobiles etc.

    Thanks

Presumably this is funded from the termination fees for text messages, whereby your mobile provider pays them to handle text messages sent to their network.

Can't see this lasting too long - though the mobile cos. (apart from Three) seem quite keen on termination fees as a source of revenue for themselves.

thanks for the post. Does any one know whether a text sent to 07937 number over T mobile network is part of inclusive text allowance?
    cheers

Brilliant, i get a huge text allowance each month and always got loads left, just sent 250 texts for 500 credits, seems it costs 4 credits/min to another mobile network so that equates to about 125mins of cheap calls just have to pay to the 020 number, great. Thanks for posting, heat from me

    Is 07937 a Jersey number?
Seem to remember reading that T-Mobile charge for these outside any allowance... could well be wrong though.

    HI ALL,

T-MOBILE WILL CHARGE. I phoned them up and I gave them the number. The number is a Jersey Number (Channel Islands, for those who dont know).... So this is no good if your with T-mobile.
I asked if this is included in txt allowance... Not a Chance Im afraid....

WHAT NETWORK IS THE ORIGINAL POSTER ON?? ARE YOU FROM JERSEY BY ANY CHANCE? ? ?

Wouldn't let me dial the landline number from my moby, think 02 may have blocked it, but if you register online there is another number to ring which can be done from different phone to the one you topped up credit on, ie. my landline, then you can use your credit from there, hope that makes sense.

Have just had a look at this. You can also build credit by calling an 0845 number. "Build credit by calling our credit line on 0845 611 8700 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday-Friday. You earn two units of credit for each minute that you stay on the line."

I'm on a BT anytime plan, so I'm wondering if I can call this number without any charge (normal 0845 numbers are included). I've just called it for 5 minutes so will check my BT calls as soon as it shows online.
