Arguably by Christopher Hitchens should be in bold at the top of the list...in fact just scrap the list and change the offer to free Christopher Hitchens!

What if you already have the app?? Don't see a way of getting the free book as I already have the app.

I registered this morning & have received my welcome email, but how do I get a free book?

In the terms and conditions it shows
•After downloading the Kobo App you will receive a Promotional Code via email to obtain your free eBook (May take up to 48 hours).

so I assume a voucher will be sent to the email address you registered the account to (maybe the email will be sent on Monday?)

Not sure on this the terms show
•Offer limited to one eBook per Kobo account per person, per Kobo app download per person before 14 January 2015.

perhaps if you only have the app on one device (e.g PC) you could download the app for another device (e.g tablet, smartphone) if you have another device you can download the app for

It looks like you have to download the app using this link:

Link

NOT the one at the top of the page the offer is advertised on.

What a shambles of a eBook shop. Free book offer does not work with the provided download link - only one hidden in terms and conditions. £3 welcome credit doesn't work on any of the titles it says it does.

Do they have anything that works?

Have updated the main text of the offer with the new link (unfortunately I cannot seem to edit the original get deal link (it does not seem to allow me to delete it and post a new link in)).

I registered on the Kobo site a while ago so don't know about the terms on the £3 welcome credit (I assume the welcome credit is for new accounts only). I have found that % off voucher codes I have had though Kobo promotions (email or login quiz promotions) Kobo have done are only valid on certain publishers books.

depending upon the type of credit or code maybe the following help pages may be of some use
Using Kobo eGift and Gift Cards

Using Kobo store credit
