  My local library offers the free use of other Byki language learning software - it's great, they probably have a hundred or so languages to chose from - maybe other libraries are doing the same?

  Thanks for posting, voted hot. This looks like more of a way to improve your vocabulary, rather than learn a complete language, but seems great for free all the same.

  Got the Japanese to brush up a bit, not terribly encouraging that one of the first things it presented me with was thank you being 'arigatou godzaimasu' - what's that d doing there?! It also just told me I got 'good morning' wrong, because I didn't put a full stop after it & 'yes' as wrong because I used a capital Y >.<
