this is only a good deal if you already have and use your bt line!

a 2year contract is silly imo they shouldnt be aloud!

Antj87, I so agree with you.

As if 12month isn't enough, they trying to lock you to a 2 year contract! From past experience be it Broadband or Mobiles, once things go bad companies like BE Broadband, AOL, Three and Carphonewhare house do little to help... and your stuck because your stuck with a lengthy contract. I'd stay away even if the laptop is temping, that way you will be shackle free. Plus the amount you will pay over the period of the contract, will cover the cost for the laptop!

Personally I think that the government should not allow fixed long term contacts, just to keep the companies on their toes and taking customer for granted/ride.

rant over.

the reason for the 2 year contract is so they can recoup their money.
ive looked in to this as i am already a aol broadband customer and compared to what i pay now £9.99 a month for 8gb wireless they want to charge you £19.99 min

true, so that extra £10 will set you back another £240 - you could buy a decent laptop with that money.

but its also a good way of paying for a laptop if you cant afford 240 quid like that!

yes it is, if you get he laptop!! Ive had endless amount of 4 months wait and still no laptop they keep frobbing me off. imo if you dont need the laptop dont sign up at all to a 2 yr contract.

Yes, but is it worth being locked in for two years? perhaps BB price will go down? And we know technology prices go down all the time.

If you don't have the money, maybe its worth talking a interest free payment scheme from Dixson's or something.

forget the 2 year tie-in, the thing that gets me the most is the download limit. last i checked it was pretty low, dunno what it is now. voted cold!
