What the title says. I`ve recently looked for legal advice thru google about an annoying Ryanair booking fee problem and they responded really quickly, same day. so thought i`d share the link in case other people need this kind of help.

Looks like u can also ring them if u`re really desperate but haven't tried that.. if anyone does call can you please post your experience?

hope it helps!

excellent thanks for tht it has helped me enormously - i have asked my landlord to do repairs on the property (quite a bit now needs to be done and ive been asking for some of the repairs for the last 18 months) - i have said i will not sign the tenancy agreement until i get the wok done or at least details of when the work will be done - they have now given me notice to quit because i wont sign the new agreement - your site has given me good information that i can use to get this sorted

Hmm, what's the catch? "If it looks too good to be true, it probably is" is ringing in my minds ear.

Hope I'm wrong/paranoid & certainly haven't voted either way.

"Although our initial advice is always free, some matters may by their nature be so complex that they require legal research or specialist opinion. In these cases we may need to make a charge, but will always tell you before hand what will be involved, and not proceed without your express instruction"

Just used the service for a simple legal issue and got a very quick answer which dealt with it and let me know exactly where I stood. Excellent, thanks for the link.

the majority of small high street solicitors would only be to happy to provide help on this sort of basis and you would be surprised that many would offer it free on the basis that if you really needed assistance that you would remember them and return to them. I know our firm operates in this way

"Areas of Expertise:Concerts
Consumer Law
Divorce Law
Employment Law
Family Law
Festivals
Legal Aid
Legal In General
Personal Injury Law
Real Estate & Property Law

UK Legal
Wills"

I have to say someone is rather stretching the term expertise at the very least. No-one has expertise on that many areas of law. Can't see his name on any cases on Westlaw either.

Legal help and advice is provided free of charge by our team of Legal Consultants.

Yes, a team of 2 "headed" by Andrew Dutton BA who claims personal expertise in all the quoted areas. It isn't doable. At best he is very general practioner. If your using a lawyer use a decent lawyer who is less anonymous, and is bound by confidentiality. This sort of advice involves giving away alot of personal information - how is it being stored/ used? Does he carry malpractice insurance if he messes up?
Quite honestly the better course of action is your local CAB, or if available CLAC (Community Legal Advice Center). If they can't deal with it they will know someone who can, and are also available by phone email or drop in. Everything is transparant as well, with regular checks and audits. The advice being given for free here is the same stuff you'd get, and without someone trying to pressure you into paying for more.
"under no circumstances will it or its affiliates, or any lawyer or consultant or any person connected with the firm be responsible for:

1. any persons reliance on any information advice or guidance, whether or not the information is correct, current or complete,

2. the consequences of any action you or any other person takes or fails to take, whether or not based on information provided by us or as a result of the use of the services of Legal-Zone or any advice given by or representation made by any lawyer or consultant on behalf or otherwise of the firm,

3. the failure or refusal of any lawyer or consultant to offer you his or her services."

Ah look you agree that if they give you duff advice then well it sucks for you. A fantastic guaruntee of a quality of service.

There is also a certain irony that the word payments is about 3 inches away from "Free Legal information and Legal Advice."
