  I also enjoyed the aimless wondering. We just got off the metro at places which looked big and sounded nice. That's how we ended up in sol and opera which are both nice places.

  I was staying 1 minute away from Plaza de Espana which is in the heart of Madrid so wandering around was fun and I found many interesting places everywhere I went.
