The Loughborough University 'Maths Card' is a compact information sheet that folds out to a double-sided sheet, about A4 in size.

With over two-thirds of all schools and colleges now subscribing to the free maths cards, they continue to be popular with both students and teachers:

“These little cards are really fantastic!”
“Proving very very very popular with my students”
“They were greatly appreciated!!!”
“We're very impressed with how you've managed to stuff so much useful 'info' into one sheet (let alone a credit card)”
The 'Maths Card' concept was originally conceived by the Faculty of
Engineering in 2002. The Formulae on the GCSE and A-level cards were put together by Loughborough University’s Mathematics Education Centre who also provide additional maths support for Loughborough students.

Sounds good to me :) Will let my school know about them

I got one of these from my teacher when I first started Uni and it's still really useful in my final year! One of the best maths publications I've seen, it's falling apart a bit now from over use so I think I may have to get another.

Thanks for the post!

Thanks, just ordered, Yes, A-level math sucks.....

/me strongly advises the GCSE group not to take it unless you get an A in your GCSE's, + you probably won't be accepted unless get an A, well thats what it's like at my school/college

Same in the sixth form I am registered with, cant do maths A-level unless you get A in GCSE maths. Even then, more than half the people taking it ended up dropping out and those that stuck with it didnt do better than a D (Very few!)

Called my school this morning and they are going to order some :) thanks OP

Wow, we were given these in year 11 back at school, somehow managed to keep mine ever since and it still came in handy the other day (currently doing 1st year maths at uni)

Definitely worth getting, even if its just to amuse yourself folding/unfolding it during lessons lol.
