This is a sweetener before they implement the change in their internet pricing. Until today, they charged you for web surfing based on how much you downloaded up to a maximum of £1 per day. I have an app that uses just a few kb per day so it cost me only pennies (I dont use any other mobile web on this fone). However, from May, they will be charging a flat fee of 50p. For some this will be great but for me it changes my mobile web portion of the bill from a few pennies to £15 per month.

Vodafone have a habit of shifting the goalposts every so often. I'd recommend going for their £7.50 per month flat fee. Despite being advertised as 'unlimited' it's anything but. 500mb a month.

It's £5.00 per month if you commit to having it for the duration of your contract.

So it is. Hmm, I've been paying £7.50 for no reason what-so-ever for the past 12 months. Good of Vodafone to advise me that this option was available. Be glad to get rid of them at the end of my contract!
