Wouldn't trust O2 as far as I could throw their phones. My last dealings with these cost me a lot of money, due to some of their staff lying over the phone, with regards terms and contracts.

Mine was on a contract (it's about 7 years ago now) and I was paying £75 per month, with lots of inclusive minutes. I'd had the phone for about 15 months and called them to ask about cancelling the contract. The initial agent said it was easy and that they'd sort it for me. Next month another bill came through (there's me thinking it should be cancelled) so I got on the phone and another person apologised and said they'd cancel the contract. I then cancelled the direct debit to make sure and a month later, I received a letter demanding quite a bit of money. They also told me they were going to cancel the contract now, as I'd not paid. Lucky for me, I was moving into another house, so even though I offered to pay some of the outstanding bill, they wouldn't play ball. So they got nothing.

Wouldn't touch them with a BT Bargepole....

xenu bobbyt64 is taking about a bad experience from 7 yrs ago with his mobile!

i have an O2 manager card and its perfect to help you manage your budget. There is no mothly fee either. I get my mobile, broadband and landline from O2 now and the customer service is excellent. You always here the odd story but then again which network doesnt.
