i don't think they do but it would look good on your résumé. And also it might help if you want a change of career but want to see if you like it first. I'm doing the nursing one because I want to do nursing at uni

I've completed two Vision2Learn courses which are proper certified courses. They're only Level 2, but still better than nowt! I've done the IT Level 2, and Equality and Diversity. You get enrolled with a proper 'local' college, and get proper nationally recognised certificates. I got CLAIT something-or-other for the IT course. There should be a few posts on here about it somewhere.

How did you find the business admin course? Having completed the other 2, this one was a bit of a shock to the system with regard to the length of the first assessment (which I'm half way through, and overdue!), and apparently there are 5 of them?! Not complaining, but finding it quite heavy going! The only remaining one is the Customer Service one, and if I'm honest I think that it might perhaps 'dumb down' my CV rather than enhancing it, although I don't have any plans to dust the CV down anytime soon. Not sure whether to do it or not!

Have you tried the ALISON courses? They have certificates too, and some of them are only a few hours long. Not looked into it fully as I've been busy doing these others on my nightshifts, but will possibly look into that next.

to b honest my tutor was a bit of nitghmare - not responding to emails, taking very long time to check the assessments etc. other then that i liked the course. most of the assessment i found on the internet. i think its a good course (well better then equality and diversity i would say).
will have to check ALISON and see what i can find there :) thanks and good luck with ur course :)

hey anyone enrolled in the open2study intro to psychology course which is kicking off on 27 May? It looks kinda interesting from the short intro video. It's only 4 hours long of videos so shouldn't be too hard to get through.

I've done courses on udacity before as well. Starting the courses is the easy part, committing to finishing it is the harder bit hehe

Thanks 'frangipani' , I am giving this a burst .
Heat to you & Oz .
