Did a search and couldn't find a post for this so if there is anyone out there that is unaware of this programme it is for you! Its basically Microsoft Office but for free, a friend recommended it to me a while back so I downloaded it and its great, you can word processing, spreadsheets, powerpoint etc and you can save it to whatever file type you need, so if you need to send the file to someone as a MS Office file you can etc. Anyway, check it out and here's the blurb from their website which will describe it better than I can!

"OpenOffice.org 3 is the leading open-source office software suite for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, graphics, databases and more. It is available in many languages and works on all common computers. It stores all your data in an international open standard format and can also read and write files from other common office software packages. It can be downloaded and used completely free of charge for any purpose. "

You are joking, right? Do a search on Microsoft Office. Yet to see a thread on that reach ten posts before this clunker gets plugged.

or Zoho

This is great. I'd get it if you don't have it but get Libre Office when it's out of beta and RC

I use this al the time at work - as it saves CSV files correctly with quotation marks around all fields, unlike Excel which only does if the field contains a comma.

Great app...
