What is Tor, how does it work:https://youtu.be/JWII85UlzKw
Why use this?
Most would use Tor for anonymity (Businesses, Journalist, Activists, Bloggers etc) and used with a mobile this is about as anonymous you can get, especially if searching using DuckDuckGo. However this also defeats aggressive firewalls at work or abroad.
I found this while trying to get through a particularly aggressive firewall filter (it even filtered search engines and Google.com with all it's services.) I noticed the firewall would recognise attempts to direct access via a VPN, but once connected to the Tor, it was able to create a VPN which would then passthough the firewall and everything was accessable. Naturally browsing becomes a little slower, but apps work great.
Simply download and start, if necessary touch the VPN button, once active, it works with all your apps and browsers.

Orbot is a free proxy app that empowers other apps to use the internet more securely. Orbot uses Tor to encrypt your Internet traffic and then hides it by bouncing through a series of computers around the world. Tor is free software and an open network that helps you defend against a form of network surveillance that threatens personal freedom and privacy, confidential business activities and relationships, and state security known as traffic analysis.
