This must be a mistake, t mobile have a sim deal on their web site which is completely free for 250 mins, 500 texts and 500 mb of data! Just got one and it went through ok!

To See if your discount is ending see comment #1662 or try to link below to jump to it

ffs, non stop with people posting the same emails

everyone gets that email no need to post it over and over again

Was it this one?

"Dear Customer,

Thanks for placing an order with T-Mobile for the £8 SIM only pack.

There was an error on the shop which meant that your £8 SIM only was advertised as free each month. We will honour this mistake and your SIM will be with you shortly, we have had a lot of orders because of this error so please allow up to 7 days for delivery.

If you need help or advice with any of our products or services please visit http://www.t-mobile.co.uk.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused but we look forward to welcoming you as a T-Mobile customer.

Kind regards,

T-Mobile

Reasons why this is planned and not a glitch:
1. Instant increase of customer base by hundreds of thousands. Looks great for the quarterly statements to shareholders.
2. The amount offered is negligible to their network infrastructure. 500MB data and 250 mins text, they wont even feel it.
3. There is a good chance you will spend money calling voicemail, customer services, spending data or using minutes outside of your allowance.
4. After 12 months you will forget to cancel and remain a customer, or you actually like your experience and switch over to them directly.
This is quite simply a win-win mostly for them and we obviously don't mind any freebie on HUKD! :)

Looks like Christmas came early for some T Mobile customers. We're aware of the deal online, which is now removed. We'll honour any sign ups

4:59 PM Nov 18th via Twitter for iPad

Thanks TonyLeMesmer - I took a screenshot of that message on their Twitter page as well; just to be on the safe side. :D

Hahaha.. In-case if I ever need any screenshots, I know whom to ask :D
Yep, if anybody ever has problems with T-Mobile, PM me. I have a bank full of HD screenshots. :D

In Windows 8 it's easy you see, you just have to press the WINDOWS + PrntScr button, and it saves them automatically in a folder, no need to mess around with Paint etc. :p

Damn Tmob just rejected my order for 500 of these. How on earth can that be fair? I've got a Boots store card and only ever go overdrawn once a week.

i just spoke to the t-mobile web chat and that's what they told me.

Maddox: We have been informed that this is a pricing error, but that we will be honouring any orders placed until the issue has been corrected If you place an order for this product you will receive our standard order confirmation email, along with a separate email confirming that your order has been received and that we will be honouring the pricing

chris: so i dont pay anything for 12 months?

Maddox: Chris it will be free for first month only

chris: so after the first month it's £8 a month for 12 months?

Maddox: Yes that's right

if i get them i will keep them and transfer one old number and use the other when run out of credit

i dont mind switching sims
silverchriz#13
The £8 discount is for 1 month only then you start paying £8 for 12 months.
matthewpod#14
Nope it's free for 12 months seriously I called and checked!

"Prices may go up during your plan" ... so they can start charging you more once you've bought one?
lakmii 1 Like #16
It says "Prices may go up during your plan". So if they decide to increase the price from £8, then you will have to start paying the additional amount because you are tied into a 12 month contract.

Am I right?

And where does it say that? It clearly states £0.00 for 12 months - just before clicking view basket and checkout

Ordered, lets hope we get it!

According to my screen it says I pay nothing each month, so they have to honour that!
