It gets pretty average reviews, so it's no Skyrim. However there shouldn't be any in-game purchases. Remember it isn't usually free. Most places have it for £8 or more.
If what you are asking is, 'is this too good to be true', or 'what are they getting out of it', the answer is this is likely a promo for the Greenman Capsule which is the gaming client this runs on.
