HOT!! Great deal

This should be in the 'normal' deals section though ;-)

#7
Me too - charging full price even though I opened new account. Even tried adding another item to basket, but still charging. :x

im quite annoyed now too - after spending 2 hrs sorting the photos out i wanted in it lol
#9
just went on live help - and asked about it - they manually added the credit to my account and i have now processed for just P&P
#10
tried this too and didn't work either. Wasted 3 hours creating the book and then it showed full price. I called Photobox's customer services and they said the offer wasn't valid.

Frustrating!!
#11
they only offer 60 free prints. not photo books. Just spoken to them to confirm this.

I had a similar problem quite a while back - an offer had been made and they changed the time limit on it. I phoned up and initially was told 'hard luck'; but called back and politely span out just how much effort I'd put in and how unfair it was and they credited my account the full amount.

As the page is still visible and allowing you to register and enter details you have a very strong agrument with them - you should get a credit as vikkiwathall did. :-D

If you Google for "photobox photobook" or even "photobook" the page the op links to comes up top of the list as a "Sponsored Link".
I can't see how they can claim it isn't valid. It's being offered to any google user - not some select few so should be honoured.
#15
not worth the effort surely!
#16
My mother in law found it through google. we've just been at a wedding and she was getting one for her mother. I definately have the credit on my account. maybe too many people showed interest after I posted this and it ****** them off

I was really encouraging the folks who had already followed the link signed-up and started uploading photos to insist on the credit they were due

There was a photobox 'glitch' posted long ago where hundreds of us got giant photo pictures for the cost of postage (I got 6 for £4.99 I think) - Photobox honoured all of those orders even though it must have cost them thousands... their offers have always been a bit of a farce - changing half-way through the offer period etc...

What a waste of time...spend 3 hours making my photobox photobook, before finding out offer had 'expired'

How can an offer expire before the expiry date?

Dont even bother using the Photobox Live Assistance...some dumb contact system they have in place.....if you do use it ask for 'Zelalem' she is so UNHELPFUL....Hello Zelalem..wakey wakey!!
#19
this is NOT expired.

this happened to me too and I spoke to this unhelpful person too. I then tried another live chat (after the reply from somebody saying it is a sponsored link on google) and spoke to somebody called kerry who was equally unhelpful and blinded me with science to justify not getting offer. Although I sent her the web page showing offer on photobox site, she was more interested in WHERE I got it from and could I send her the email address it came from etc. Then I mentioned the google link and to cut a long story short I got nowhere and haven't the time to start all over again!

It IS expired! If they are refusing to honor it after THREE HOURS?!?! of uploading photos then it's not available is it?!

I wont be wasting my time, a shame you want other people to waste theirs!
#22
I already contacted their customer service by email explaining the story like other did.

Hopefully, they will look into it tomorrow.
#23
Thanks for the post - also spent ages uploading pics and organising them into a book only to have a final payment due of £27+. Link from google still shows as an offer but photobox do not appear to be honouring it. For anyone else, don't bother wasting your time.
#24
after this was expired the first time I made another account and it got a free credit... valid until april 25th. clearly it wasn't expired.

Misquote there matey....

I spend 3 hours uploading my photos + making the photobook, before I was informed that they would not process my order/honour the offer...

#27
Should be expired, they don't even reply to emails.
Don't waste your time
#28
Still doesn't work, don't waste your time
#29
Tbh I have used the company,I don't think it is worth the time! The prints are not that good! They don't even seem to have a lock on the web page when you put your account details in?

After contacting the boss, a few people from Photobox seems to care about my complaint now. The boss told them to honour the offer (One off good will gesture..of course). Anyway, I am happy.
#35
I tried to order last night but offer was not working so used live chat during the day and operator added photobook credit to my account. paid only £3.99 for delivery.
