Lol. Ahh jealousy doesn't get you anywhere.

There are a lot of celebs who came from Manchester. On top of that, Manchester was voted 46th best place to live in the world. The only place in the UK to make top 50. London came 51st!

The OP tried to include a picture of a famous Manchester landmark until she realised they don't have any so stuck a picture of a train up instead!

Nevermind we've got more than our fair share of iconic sights here in Liverpool and it's only 30 miles down the road.

I'm going on holiday to Manchester for a short break in September and was looking for a free map (only a very detailed but small map found on a Google search), so have just sent my SAE off to get one of these. Never been to Manchester, thought it was worth a look seeing as am in Ambleside weekend before and Nottingham the following weekend. Have been to Liverpool so I've done those shops!!!!!

Does it tell you not to park in car parks run by scumbags in a high-vis vest?

I went to Manchester ONCE, for a trade show, booked into quite an expensive hotel, the large car park was chained off, asked in reception, they said "we had to close it, to many breakins and stolen cars, Was told to find a 24 hour manned car park with TV control, cost me a fortune to park it there for 3 days. ;-(
