At this site, you may request a free sample of Colour Catcher, a product that prevents washing accidents from occurring by stopping colour from running into other garments. Colour Catcher also helps to prevent colour fading. To obtain your sample, follow the "free sample" link (bottom right of page).

i dont get the point of these things. surely if you're going to take the time to think and put one in with your washing you will also take time to make sure you havent mixed any colours in with your whites. just seems stupid.
#3
Indeed. And I don't think I would even want to risk testing this product to see if it actually does what they say it does.

avoid these like the plague - I've had to have several of them removed from behind my drum. The second time the GF was using them up without telling me!

Both repair men said they are evil

Can't get to type in the text boxes anyway... Must have faded in the wash!

mmm....Im still a bit wary of them...just incase!!!! i have been wanting to try them though so will get the free sample and give them a whirl with dark jeans and old white socks to see if they work before buying any!!!
good deal.Thanks! :-)
just been to the site and it says free sample temporarily unavailable

You’ll Stink, Yer Clothes’ll Shrink, Yer Whites’ll Be Black As Ink.

I find they work a treat - just put in your dark colours wash - and anything that runs will be picked up by the sheet instead of slightly altering the colour of your other dark items. Also helps to keep the colours bright.

Just tried & am getting the mesage "Free sample is unavailable" :-(
#10
Not the best of ideas..It has cost me more than nothing!! More like £50!!

I have a friend who uses these all the time, it lets you put dark colours with lighter ones and she uses them with whites too, as smiffy66 says, keeps them bright.

Still saying freebie's unavailable though

i totally agree! whats the point, just put your whites in with whites to keep em bright and your darks in with darks, how hard can that be????
if you remember to put a colour catcher sheet in there then you'll remember to check that nothing runs.... makes no sense! :whistling:

If you live on your own it saves you doing 3 quarter-full washes (light colours, dark colours, whites). Admittedly I'd only ever wash white with white, but can save quite a bit of leccy and water if you combine colours.
#14
agreed, good point!
you could save even more if you washing machine has a half hour cycle thats only for quarter full loads!

None of you have white tee shirt with coloured collars? Or coloured tee shirts with white collars? Cos its So annoying when they run into each other! LOL

I didn't see the original page, but the link in the bottom right hand corner of the web page is now inviting you to enter a Prize Draw!

However one of the questions is whether or not you have yet received a free sample, and if you say 'No', you can then tick another box to request one!

Fair enough I suppose!
