Tried this before (last year) but nothing arrived. Maybe it is only for locals. Had another attempt tonight. You never know!

Put plastic bottles in your toilet tank
To cut down on water waste, put an inch or two of sand or pebbles inside each of two plastic bottles to weigh them down. Fill the bottles with water, screw the lids on, and put them in your toilet tank, safely away from the operating mechanisms.

Even more environmentally friendly -recycling and saving water :p.

GoOooOooo Polar Bears!!

A brick works well also anything that will displace some of the water in your cistern will cut back on the volume needed.

I was told in Australia:

"If it's yellow, let it mellow; if it's brown, flush it down."
