A rubbish film filled with unnecessary imagery, the scenes in purgatory - awful, Jackson had to get use of CGI in somewhere.

anyone who managed to get tickets for Gateshead before me......i hate you!

are you having a laugh?

The Road is the worst film I have seen in years. Man and boy trudging around for 2 hours with hardly any dialogue, zero plot and no ending.

Me and g/f loved the book. She's seen the film and had the same opinion about the 'purgatory' CGI scenes and really disliked the film. Still curious to see it though...

this film is a waste of life.

I went to see this as it was a free screening for VUE cinemas on 26th Jan. Not a very good film, drags quite a bit and goes back and forth between scenes throughout. Also, it is based on a novel, and so is never going to be as good as the book. Think carefully before wasting 2 hours of your evening. You have to have a very wide imagination to appreciate this!
