Set in the world of battle re-enactments, Faintheart is a comedy that charts the epic quest of Viking Warrior Readmund the Just, aka Richard the sales assistant (Eddie Marsan), as he attempts to win back the love of his long suffering wife Cath (Jessica Hynes). Tired of Richards all-consuming obsession with his Iron-age alter ego, Cath kicks him out of their home and into the real world. His honour is put in further peril when Cath begins seeing Martins PE teacher Gary (Paul Nicholls). Realising he must finally face up to the challenges of the present day and fatherly responsibility, Richard enlists the help of best friend and Trekkie, Julian (Ewen Bremner). Together with Julian and a merry band of assorted geeks known as the Bloody Broadswords. Richard must summon all of his Norse courage to discover the real warrior within and prepare for his greatest ever battle.

You have to go to the cinema with the voucher to get tickets.

How is a Word document a bit dodgy? It is a film made by a small film company so no the voucher that you print out and hand in isn't particulary lavish, it doesn't need to be!

I get the impression that you just hand the printout in on the day because it says to get there for a prompt 6:30pm start!

It must be an automated email, but they still might note down the information on the email and send it to the cinema, so people should send their name in, just in case.

"
*Tickets will be allocated on a first come first serve basis."

Makes it sound like they aren't rationing the automated "Congratulations" email and it will be a free for all first come first served on the night.

If that's the case, then it's completely wrong of them, as alot of people could be disappointed

Got mine for Brighton thanks

Hi i applied for tickets last night and got a congratulations e-mail straight away. Rang my local cinema (boldon tyner and wear) and they told me you will only get an e-mail if you have been allocated seats and the 'first come first serve basis' refers to the seats you will get ie get there early for good seats.

Sounds good, but I saw an advert in the Metro this morning saying "cut this out and bring it to the cinema and you'll get in" basically, so it does seem like it's a case of first come, first served to the cinema itself. :?

got my confirmation e-mail today so took over 4 days...weird really but at least i have it:thumbsup: just hope the films worth it

Do cinemas let you collect tickets prior to time of screening?

In an earlier post somebody said you can't get them prior, it's simple first come first serve!
